With my Dad

Yesterday, March 8th, I made my 5th hole in one. The great thing about this hole in one is it is the 3rd one I have made playing with my dad. I made my very first hole in one at Green River Country Club when I was 20 years old back in 1989 playing with my dad. I made my third hole in one at Pinetuck Golf Club back in 2006 on my 37th birthday witnessed by my dad. And then yesterday, I made my 5th hole in one at Cheraw Country Club on #4, a 192 yard hole with a 5 iron playing yet again with my dad with a Pro V1x given to me by our other playing partner, Tom Wrights. I had a brand new sleeve that I was getting ready to use but Tom handed me that ball on the first tee and said, "Try this one." My dad is 78 years old now and we try to get out and play golf as much as we can. I treasure the time we get to spend together on and off the course. Making a hole in one is a great feeling, no doubt about it. But it means so much more to me that I have gotten to experience that joy 3 times with Mel Harvey, my dad.
