In Tokyo this weekend, Titleist golf ball loyalist Kenichi Kuboya (Pro V1x) captured the Panasonic Open on the first hole of a sudden death playoff.
Kuboya fired a final round 7-under-par 64 at Chiba Country Club, en route to an 11-under 273 total to reach the playoff.
It was Kuboya’s first victory since 2012 and the seventh of his 22-year career.
Eight of the 12 players who finished among the top 10 and ties relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.
TITLEIST BY THE NUMBERS
Titleist was the overwhelming golf ball choice at the Panasonic Open in Japan with 85 players trusting a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success. That’s more than double the nearest competitor with 31 and more than all competitors combined.
