Casey and Wallace Add Two More Victories to Titleist Win Count

The winning momentum continued around the globe for Titleist this week, as Titleist golf ball loyalists combined for two more victories on the worldwide tours.

Titleist golf ball players have now recorded 37 victories across the worldwide professional tours, more than six times the nearest competitor with 6.

To date this season, the game's finest players have relied on a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball 5,233 times, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 729 and more than all competitors combined.

On the PGA Tour, Titleist golf ball loyalist Paul Casey (Pro V1) fired a closing 6-under par 65 to capture the Valspar Championship in come-from-behind fashion.

This marks the second career PGA Tour title for Casey (2009 Houston Open), who posted a 10-under-par 274 victory total after starting the final round five shots behind the leader.

Casey finished one shot clear of two players, including one who also relied upon the Pro V1 for his success after putting it in play for the first time last week.

Casey ranked among the top 10 in Strokes Gained: Around the Green (3rd); Scrambling (3rd); Strokes Gained: Approach to the Green (7th); and Putts Per Greens in Regulation (7th). His 21 putts on Sunday were the fewest of his PGA Tour career.

Titleist was the overwhelming golf ball of choice at the Valspar Championship with 101 players trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball, more than six times the nearest competitor with 16 and more than all competitors combined.

 Titleist was also the top choice in hybrids (22) and irons, with 38 sets in play. Vokey Design Wedges topped the approach, sand and lob wedge (188) category and Scotty Cameron putters led the putter count with 49 Scotty Cameron models in play.

It was an all-Titleist playoff at the Hero Indian Open where Titleist golf ball loyalist Matt Wallace (Pro V1) topped Titleist Brand Ambassador Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston (Pro V1) on the first extra hole for his second career European Tour crown.

Both players finished at 11-under-par 277 after Wallace, who started the final day tied for the lead, closed with a 68, while Johnston charged home with a 6-under-par 66.

 Titleist was the overwhelming golf ball of choice at the Hero Indian Open with 112 players trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball, 100 more than the nearest competitor with 12 and more than all competitors combined.

Titleist was also the top choice in hybrids (25) and irons (33) categories. Vokey Design Wedges were also the players' top choice in approach, sand and lob wedges (156).

Titleist golf ball loyalists have won 11 of the first 13 events on the 2017-18 European Tour.
