Jutanugarn, Harding and Kwon Lead 3-Win Week for Titleist

The winning momentum continued around the globe for Titleist this week, as Titleist Brand Ambassadors and golf ball loyalists added three more victories to the Titleist worldwide tour win count.

Titleist golf ball players have now recorded 85 victories across the worldwide professional tours, seven times the nearest competitor with 12.

To date this season, the game's finest players have relied on a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball 10,726 times, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 1,513 and more than all competitors combined.

Headlining the action this week, Titleist golf ball loyalist Ariya Jutanugarn (Pro V1x) birdied the second hole of a three-way sudden death playoff to win the Kingsmill Championship for the second time in three years.

Jutanugarn also birdied the first extra hole to eliminate one of the playoff participants.

Jutanugarn closed with a 5-under-par 66 to advance to the playoff with a 14-under 199 total. The event was reduced to 54 holes when heavy rain washed out Saturday’s round.

The 22-year old from Thailand secured her eighth career victory after converting a 15-foot putt for the win.

Ariya’s older sister, Moriya, won the HUGEL-JTBC Championship in April for her first LPGA Tour victory. The Jutanugarns are just the second sisters ever to win on the LPGA Tour.

Titleist golf ball loyalists Brooke Henderson (Pro V1) closed with a 65 to finish solo 4th, one shot out of the playoff, while Megan Khang (Pro V1x) was alone in 5th following her third straight 67.

Titleist was the most played golf ball at the Kingsmill Championship with 113 players trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than six times the nearest competitor with 17.

Jutanugarn’s performance marked the 9th win for Titleist golf ball players through the first 11 LPGA Tour events this season, nine times the nearest competitor with one.

On the South African Sunshine Tour, Titleist Brand Ambassador Justin Harding (Pro V1) claimed his second consecutive Sunshine Tour title, validating last week's win at the Investec Royal Swazi Open. This time, Harding earned top honors with a sudden death playoff victory over fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Jake Roos at the Lombard Classic.

Harding, who started the final round with a one shot lead, carded seven birdies en route to a closing 6-under-par 66 and a 20-under 196 total.

Titleist Brand Ambassador Colin Nel (Pro V1) and golf ball loyalist Alex Haindl (Pro V1x) shared 4th place, three shots back, as four of the top five finishers trust Titleist golf balls for their success.

Titleist was the most relied upon golf ball in the limited field of 86 with 66 players relying on a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than five times the nearest competitor with 17.

This win marks the seventh career Sunshine Tour title for Harding, who vaulted to the top of 2018-19 Order of Merit following the victory.
