Of his +8.444 strokes gained tee to green, 71% of them were on approach shots (+3.235) and around the green (+2.742). He also finished third in Scrambling, getting up-and-down on 16 of 24 attempts around Shinny's treacherous greens. Clark opened with the tournament’s best round, following his 6-under 64 on Thursday with rounds of 69-70-73 to claim the one-shot victory, his second win in his last four starts. In between Clark's victories on Sunday and last month’s THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson, he also finished third (The Memorial) and T11 (RBC Canadian Open). Following Sunday’s victory, Clark now ranks 11th on TOUR in Strokes Gained: Approach (+0.567 per round average) and 15th in SG: Around the Green (+0.352). After his tournament-winning par on the last, Clark topped a leaderboard that featured nine Titleist golf ball players in the top 10: 1. Wyndham Clark (Pro V1x) 2. Tom Kim (Pro V1x) T4. J.T. Poston (Pro V1x Left Dash) T4 . Keith Mitchell (Pro V1 ) T4. OWGR No. 1 (Pro V1) T7. Joaquin Niemann (Pro V1x) T7. Tyrrell Hatton (Pro V1x) T7. Gary Woodland (Pro V1) T7. Sam Stevens (Pro V1) 10 WINS FOR PRO V1, PRO V1 x PLAYERS OVER LAST 10 WEEKS ON PGA TOUR Clark’s victory at Shinnecock Hills made it 10 wins for Pro V1 and Pro V1x players over the last 10 weeks on the PGA TOUR, extending a streak that dates back to April 19. Among those 10 victories are two major championships and four PGA TOUR signature events: RBC Heritage | Matt Fitzpatrick (Pro V1x) Zurich Classic of New Orleans | Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick (Pro V1x) Cadillac Championship | Cameron Young (Pro V1x Double Dot) Truist Championship | Kristoffer Reitan (Pro V1) PGA Championship | Aaron Rai (Pro V1) THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson | Wyndham Clark (Pro V1x) Charles Schwab Challenge | Russell Henley (Pro V1x) The Memorial Tournament | J.T. Poston (NEW Pro V1x Left Dash) RBC Canadian Open | Bud Cauley (Pro V1x) U.S. Open | Wyndham Clark (Pro V1x) WYNDHAM CLARK ON HIS PRO V1 x GOLF BALL “Honestly, one of the most important things in a player’s bag is the golf ball. If you don’t have control of that, then it doesn’t matter how you’re swinging, how the clubs are made, whatever. The golf ball is so important, and that’s ultimately what goes into the hole. Having faith and trusting your golf ball is huge.” “I play [Pro V1x] because it’s kind of the perfect combination for me of launch and spin. … I'm a low spin player, I have a lot of speed, but I don't spin the ball very much. And the Pro V1x, especially with my irons and driver, spins at the numbers that I want. Also, I think it's great around the greens. So I’ve always been looking for spin. And this Pro V1x gives me exactly what I need.” “The spin means the most to me, because I’m a low spin player, so I need the spin to help keep the ball in the air, to be able to control it better around the greens. And that's the most important thing for me. And especially out on Tour, you need to be able to have the ball to stop very quick, and that's what this ball does.” “What’s unique in our game is you can get the ball and your equipment dialed into the exact thing that you need. And with Titleist having different [models], I was able to find one that with my irons, spun perfectly, and with my driver, spun perfectly. And around the greens, I was able to stop it quick and do everything I wanted with it.” “The Pro V1x around the greens I think is the best ball in golf. And that's one of the main reasons I use it. It’s still really soft. I can create a bunch of spin, I can hit any shot I want. My favorite shot to hit with this is probably that mid-to-low height spinner. And on tour I feel like we use this shot a lot – where it's medium, not that much green to work with and you need it to stop quick. And the Pro V1x does that every time. “So the Pro V1x is a touch firmer and has a little more click to it, but I played this ball my whole life and that's what I'm used to and that's what I like. And the great thing about this ball is when I hit it good and I flush it off the face, I know exactly how it's going to come out and it reacts the same every single time.” “So on the PGA TOUR, distance and control is the most important thing I'd say. And we've gotten so good at the game and we know exactly how far the ball's going. And to be able to hit an iron consistently within one to three yards every single time is really important. And the great thing about the Pro V1x is it reacts that way and constantly is consistent and that's one of the most important things in a golf ball and out here. “For example, I hit a stock nine iron about 165 yards, give or take a yard or two, which is really important because if I have 165 yards to a pin, I know it's perfect. But then also you have a lot of shots that are off speed. And I know if I take off about five to seven yards on my swing and my pace, that the ball’s going to react that way. And that's so important because it's very rare that you have the same distance every single time and you need to be able to adjust. And this golf ball does everything you need.” “First time I played a Titleist golf ball, I was very young, I want to say maybe around 10 or 11 years old. And I went to a really prestigious golf club in Colorado and they had Pro V1’s on the range and I remember hitting wedge shots that hit and spun back and that was the first time I experienced spin like that with a golf ball. Ever since then I've been hooked with the ball and look, it's been 20 years later, I'm still playing the same ball.” TITLEIST IS #1 BALL AT U.S. OPEN FOR 78th STRAIGHT YEAR; MOST PLAYED DRIVER, IRON, WEDGE For the 78th consecutive year, Titleist was the #1 ball at the U.S. Open, as the overwhelming majority of competitors at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club — including champion Wyndham Clark, and nine of the top 10 finishers — played a Pro V1 or Pro V1x . For example get fitted for a GTS but then go and find a comparable GT or even TSR? As much as I'd love to upgrade to a GTS...even factoring in the fitting fee the savings could potentially go towards a couple of new Vokey wedges in addition to adding a new driver to the bag It seems like it's easy to find lots of good condition used heads and shafts, but just not the fitting component to go along with it unless you live near a 2nd Swing location.

Forum Post: RE: Favourite Titleist Staffer

Historically I was always a Steve stricken fan. The ace occurred on Number 2, a par , 148 yard hole at Spring lake in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. I haven’t been golfing in years, returned to the course (6/13). We were on the second hole and I hit a hole in one 148yards out with my buddies 7. I thought no one noticed, even doubted myself. On the way down to the hole 6 guys up ahead asked why we weren’t reacting. Me and my buddies began to celebrate and ran towards the hole while both groups were cheering! When we saw the unbelievable my titlest sitting pretty in the hole. www.titleist.com/.../zcaa6ifyqit0gu383gmb www.titleist.com/.../wnqasntxrkevfi3rgfxy

Forum Post: RE: Head covers

[quote user="Steven W"] Why is Scotty’s stock head cover game so poor!!? It was 107 from tee to pin. Pulled out a 9 iron. Thought I might have too much club, but had a nice easy swing. Felt really good when I struck the ball. It launched extremely high and landed about 6 inches from the hole. There was a group of guys waiting on the third tee box that saw the hole thing much better than I did and they started to shout when it went in the hole. This is my second hole in one and just as exciting as the first one. www.titleist.com/.../mfvumhx7016k5eutn5lf

Forum Post: My first Hole in One!

Yesterday June 20th 2026 I hit my first hole in one! There are 8 of us who go on an annual golf trip, and this year we decided to play a few courses up in the mountains of Vermont. On our final round of the trip we were playing Haystack golf course, the weather had been tough all weekend, rain on and off and a ton of gusty wind. The fourth hole is an uphill 177 yard par 3, because of the wind I decided to play a knock down 6 iron, I’m a lefty, so when I hit the shot it I played a baby fade right to left. The ball landed about 8’ shy of the pin and slightly to the left, took one bounce and trickled a it 5’ left to right and disappeared! Thanks to my T200 irons and my #7 Pro V1, I joined the most exclusive club every golfer dreams of joining!! The best part of it all is that I got to share the moment with 7 of the greatest guys. Thank you Titleist for continuing to provide the greatest golf equipment out there! www.titleist.com/.../mothtr38pufxacywrejv

Forum Post: ICC Hole in One

For the past 6 years, my wife and I have played golf with another couple on Sunday afternoons. On May 31st, the weather was sunny and windy and our course, International Country Club in Fairfax VA was in great shape. I started the round with birdie, double, birdie or I like to call it a birdie bread sandwich with double meat! As we approached the 167 yard par 3 8th hole, the wind started gusting intermittently. On the box, I had a 6 iron and a 5 hybrid in my hands, trying to time the wind gusts. I teed my Pro V1, threw my 6 iron down, addressed the ball and fired it right at the tucked flag over the right side bunker. It was a center strike on the face, the kind when you feel almost nothing in your hands. My first thought, I'm going to sail the green. Then mother nature send me a nice wind gust, knocked my ball down in front of the flag for a 2 hop hole in one! www.titleist.com/.../ndidplcjbysbg4ysku8j www.titleist.com/.../zhnqakwz5ai8plnwyfaf
