• Glad I switched to playing left handed!

I am a natural "lefty" but have been golfing for 30 years as a right-handed golfer. Five months ago my son convinced me to try swinging a left-handed club because he said my swing didn't look natural. Took 2 lessons with my swing coach and he too was…

  • Long time coming for #2

After 15 year drought - hit my Titleist Iron 6 iron and Pro V ball - on #4 Alvamar - 157 yards - one timer ..Great to have my son Owen along side....

  • Loudest shot

Hole 17 is a 198 yard tee shot. It is on Sunrise golf course in El Paso, Tx. I hit a 7 iron dead at the pin. It did not leave the stick. Then there was a very loud clank. It was the loudest that I have ever heard on a golf course. I looked over and said…

  • Birthday Week Ace

My birthday is just 6 days away and today I had my first ever ace! My mother and I were playing at Newport Beach Golf Course, a local executive course where a round of 18 holes is a deal at $13! It was her first time playing in 5 years since a knee injury…

    to top it off…

I play the C-Taper lite shaft in my T-MB 2 iron which allows me to flight the ball a little higher.
  • RE: AP2 714 Weight

Yeah, since I didn't get mine new, I didn't get to specify anything. I'm thinking of putting my old Rifle FCM 6.0 shafts on there, though I think they're only fractionally lighter.

I will say that the heavier club head (if it is the club…
  • RE: 915D2 or 915 D3

The 915D2 might be the better option, but you really should find a qualified Titleist fitter and go through the fitting process. It's the only way to get the correct head and shaft for your swing.
  • RE: Iron Shafts - 716 AP1 & AP2

Thst sounds like an awsome setup Doug. I'll be at an outdoor demo day on Wednesday and hope to hit the AP1 with that exact shaft with the same flex and length.
  • RE: titleist 915d3

The D2 is more forgiving but I find that I can work the ball left/right, right/left easier with the smaller head of the D3 without losing forgiveness. When I hit the sweet spot which is 9 out of 10 times it flies. Love to see that high fade or that low…
