HI Guys, Out of interest in which country do you live ?, I will start this of as i believe i may be the only one who lives in BULGARIA .
Three courses on the Black sea coast north of Varna and three courses closer to Sofia and the ski resorts .
Most are hotel resort connected but all offer membership and the Bulgarian golf association issue handicap cards to club members . Mercedes held there match play at Thracian cliffs golf club ( Gary Player design ) the first euro tour event to be held here . Then Lighthouse golf resort and spa hotel next to the Black sea Rama course .are the three on the coast.
Pravets GC Pirin GC and ST Sofia GC you may find a few more but not sure if they are still operating as private courses some closed as no investment or interest in the game, here it is a game for the wealthy , as salaries are low ie around one month salary will buy you a new driver and the old age minimum pension is 157 BGN . and can rise to around 189 BGN a MONTH. ( 75 euro to 95 euro yes you read right a Month). So 50 euro to play around of golf is well out of reach .
