I am a huge fan of my 52, 56 and 60 degree SM4's and am trying to decide whether or not I want to upgrade to the SM5's.  Does anyone have any experience with the switch and, if so, have you noticed any significant difference? I am a good short game player and am able to stop/spin my SM4's so it isn't a performance concern.   I might skip this model and wait for the new ones when they are released.  Any thoughts?

Not to misdirect your inquiry but have you thought about the TVDs?  I went through a fitting at Oceanside and ended up getting a 56 degree and a 60 degree, both in the K grind. They are beautiful to hold in your hand. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play them yet although spring is threatening to come early to Minnesota. I also hope to get out to California and North Carolina in the next six weeks and intend to take my new sticks. Good luck with your choice.

    John,

I have not considered them, but after your post, I will definitely check them out.  I saw them on Wedgeworks but am a little unfamiliar with them since the SM5 is plugged so much no matter what golf store you go to.  I am going to call my Titleist rep today and discuss the TVD's.  Thanks for your response!  Good luck this year!

The SM5's look better at address. I prefer them. They also have all those grinds and bounces to choose. Confidence and personal preference mostly.
