Anyone else deciding to upgrade their wedges this year? I recently bought three new SM6 wedges last week and can't wait to go play with them tomorrow! I was gaming three TVD (50M, 52M, and 54M) wedges and decided to give the SM6s a go. I got similar a lofts and grinds in the SM6s (50.8, 52.8 and 54.8). I also have been using Aerotech Steelfiber i125cw shafts in both my TVD set and new SM6s. Weather should be great here on Oahu tomorrow, looking forward to getting out there!

    I'm considering it for sure!

I just ordered my AP2's so I might wait just a bit before I do. I'm looking heavily at the S grind for my 2nd and 3rd wedges. I play M Grinds today but really liked how the S felt with shots.

I used up the remainder of my pro shop credit last year on a SM6 52*. First swing on the course, I stuck it within 6" of the cup! I still have two SM4's remaining that are long in the tooth, but I'm uncertain whether to stick with a 56* & 60*, or opt for a 58* and add a 4 iron to my bag.

I got the SM6s (50.10 and 56.14 F grind) last year when I got my new 716AP1s (5-W). Ordered everything at the same time with same shafts (XP105 S300) and setups (+ 1/2", -2*), to ensure a complete matching set. Great decision on my part. The are working well for me. Complimented with Golfpride Midsize MCC +4 Grips on all clubs in my Titleist bags.

I'm getting old and can't even read what is on the wedges. I got a 50.08. My old sand wedge was a 56.10 and well as they say, my bad. They are beautiful, but meant to to played and like some cars they look nice but definitely mean to be driven, not parked in a driveway.......cheers, Chuck.... it's actually my wife's and she will not let me drive it. I like to drive fast.

Upgraded to SM 5 52.8 F Grind; 56.14 F Grind; and a 60.11 K Grind. They rocked my game! My foursome is jealous!

    I have the SM5's in 50, 54 and 58.
Decided to get a set of SM6's in the same grinds. They're still not in the bag, and until better weather comes, I'm using the SM5's... All of my clubs are with the MCC white/black grips midsize as well

I recently purchased the SM6 52/08*,56/14*, and 60/10* all in jet black. They look ferocious in the bag! I think my fiance is also ready for golfing weather so I will stop chipping around the apartment!
  11. TD, Great choises. But I would add a 60. I had a 56 as my most lofted wedge but I bought a 60 degree (M) after working with my pro and that has added SO many more shots to my short game. Probably my most important weapon.
Good luck, I just wish I wasnt under 5 feet of snow BUT it is melting!!
  12. I had a wedge fitted last year. I call it "my killer". It's a beauty.
If I ever get an other one, I'll let it fit again and I'll buy another Vokey!

Just ordered 3 SM6 wedges, 50 S grind, 54 M going 58 L grind. We have firm turf over here in Central Oregon and I'm more of a sweeper than a digger so these bounces are perfect for the shots I want to hit with each club.

Can't wait to get them and start practicing. We've just gone 69 days in a row with snow cover and still a few weeks left before our course opens.

Picking up my new 2017 Pro V1 golf balls this afternoon so I can start putting with them.

It's going to be a great golf season. :)

I bought 11 new wedges: 9 SM6's and 2 SM5's this past December right before Golfsmith closed its doors.

I have 4 new jet black SM6 wedges coming very soon. 46.08 F, 50.08 F, 54.10 S and 58.12 K. They should match quite nicely with the T-MB/AP2 set coming with them. I have a feeling it's going to be a good season!!!

Yes!! I'm considering getting new wedges too as I play the old SM4's in 50, 54, 58 (took the 58 out of my bag, hardly use it). I want to get fitted by an actual Titleist fitter when they come around the Seattle area instead of local pro shops or when I move to Temecula, CA in a couple months for the sunny, warm weather:). Let me know how you like playing those new wedges after a few rounds there "the Dom". Lol..Cheers!!
  17. Just ordered the replacement for my old Cleveland RTG's have a 50.12 F and a 54.10 S coming. That will make my Titleist Staff carry bag totally Titleist. Really looking forward to the new season!!!
