  1. I have recently bought a 46* wedge to replace to Pitching wedge that comes in my 716 AP1 set. It's about a 10yrd difference. I can live with that I just don't know if it's practical to have 5 wedges in my bag. (P, 46, 50, 54, 58) what do you guys think?

  2. 5 wedges is a lot in my opinion... that being said, if it suits your game then go for it. The vast majority of shots are hit from 130yds and in(assuming you play the tees appropriate to your driving distance) so having a club that you're confident in for every yardage is crucial in that range. If the yardage is repetetive or too close a gap then it's a wasted club.

I play the 46 degree (removed the pitching wedge), nothing compares to a Volkey wedge 130 yards and in for me. Decisions like this are personal, confidence is key.
  4. Although 5 wedges is a lot, I too have 5 wedges in my bag. It is all how well you can control the wedge and how they compliment your short game. For me, the wedges are my game from 130 yards out that is all that is in my hand. Good luck
