I just purchased a 35 Scotty Cameron Futura X putter on eBay. I use a 34 so I was going to have it cut down, do I need to adjust the weights with the length change from a 35 to 34?

If I were you, I'd call the Scotty Cameron Custom Shop. They will be happy to answer your question. You can find the phone number on their website under the customize your putter section.
  3. It depends if you want the swingweight the same. You are proabably aware when you shorten a putter it makes the swingweight (the feel of the weight of the head) to be lighter. Thus, if you do not want this then you will need to change out the weights for heavier ones. It is personal preference. Good Luck!

Sorry I didn't specify the putter has 10g weights currently in the 35, do I need to add more weight if I cut it down to 34?

If you want the putter to have the same feel from a swing weight standpoint while playing an inch shorter you have two options

    #1 install a lighter grip
#2 add weight to the putter head

I would first try a lighter grip, if you like the Cameron matador that was on the putter try a supper stroke that weights 50g or so, otherwise the lightest Cameron grips are the studio design
