  1. So I went for a fitting on the new 915 range, current optiforce 440 9 degree tour driver with diamana blue board, 913 17 degree fairway with same shaft. got fitted on trackman and stats looked good - 915 D3 driver 9 degree with stock stiff shaft and 16.5 degree with diamana blueboard fairway went to course fairway is lovely slightly lower flight more penetration probably about 10 yards longer, lovely solid feel, lovely sound. driver - horrible feel, horrible sound, awful ball flight yet went as far as or 5 yrds longer on average than the optiforce, which is no slouch I carry it 261 to 265 on trackman though on course is longer due to release etc... After all the hype was really disappointed with the driver at £359 its not cheap but this went straight on ebay after one round was so so looking forward to this driver as I loved the 910 driver thought the 913 driver was good in warm climates, but the 915 Titleist what have you done!! Anyone else had similar issues? Love Titleist use vokeys (custom fitted) 914 AP2's Custom fitted..... Ian

    Hi Ian,

    I've bought the 915 Driver,fairway and hybrid !

I found there wasn't much difference between 910 and 913 but i still bought them. I read that they nearly put recoil channel in the 913 but they weren't happy with it so held off.

The difference however in the 915's is unbelievable in flight and feel, i also think the sound has been improved.

It sounds like you didn't have the correct shaft for yourself ?

What ball are you using ?

It's winter time so the balls play a lot harder than normal so that will also affect the acoustics ?

    Regards

    Gary
