I am looking at getting a new golf bag.  I want a 14 way bag either stand or cart and want some opinions.  I realize it will be what best suits me but advise/experience with will be greatly appreciated.  I don't live at a location where I can see Titleist bags for my self without driving an hour away.  Thank You.  Brian F.

Brian, the bag is really personal preference.  I have the lightweight cart bag.  This bag is huge - can hold anything I may need.  14 way with putter well.  I will say this bag is large for my push cart.  It works, but seems too big.  Great for golf carts.  Easy to access all pockets while on cart.  Again, plenty of room and very sharp looking.  You can't go wrong with any Titleist bag - they all look awesome!

The 14-way surely help with graphite shafts, especially with the woods. The 3 pockets staff bags, like mine, are great too. But over time, the dividers will wear.
  4. Brian, the 14 way carry bag by Titleist is wonderful.  Plenty of pockets for storage and extras! Definitely worth the money!

I can't speak specifically to the equality of the 14-way stand bag, but I did purchase the 2014 ultra lightweight back at the beginning of the year and have been extremely impressed with the quality of it. I'm sure the 14-way bag would be every bit as good or better.

    Brian,

I find it to be a matter of what your needs are.  I have a 9.5 Titleist Staff Bag and absolutely love it.  The only downside is that, when I practice, it's hard to keep it standing up.  I don't like to place my bag on its side and I certainly don't want it to fall over. The staff bag does not have the 14 individual  slots but is a beautiful bag.  I realize you did not mention the staff bag in your post but it is an excellent choice if you are considering.

Prior to the staff bag, I had a Titleist cart bag and liked it as well.  The same concern arises with the cart bag in terms of standing up when you are practicing.  There are "bumps" on the legs that help but the bag will still fall over on occasion, especially in windy conditions.  I would really think about what your needs are and, if you practice a lot and are close to concrete or flat land when you do.  Whatever you choose, you will be happy!

Thanks everyone for the input. I am going to look at some this weekend. I have taken a liking to the staff bags. Thanks again.

Try the 14 way stand bag light for a fourteen way and has retractable legs when using at range

Brian, have two bags.  Have a lightweight cart bag which works great on my push cart and if I happen to play a course that requires carts then have the best of both worlds.  I also a the Titleist lightweight carry bag.  Use it for trips.  Easy to pack and carry on the plane.  The cart bag has 14 individual slots and the carry bag does not.  Love my Titleist bags and would highly recommend them.  Check online at golflocker.com, budgetgolf.com or tgw.com....can find previous year model at great price on occasions.

Good morning Brian, I had the same dilemma. Little selection for me to look at as well. I decided to look online. I bought myself 2 Titleist "StaDry" stand bags through eBay. The "StaDry" bags are a much nicer looking bag to my eye, and they feel much more durable.

I just wanted to add, my Titleist "StaDry" is sweet. It's a fairly simple bag, but the fit and finish of the bag is something to behold. I love the look of it. It's not a flashy bag in my opinion, but again, it does command your attention with it's strong understated appearance. It's sturdy, while maintaining a nice, easy to handle weight. If this bag was heavy, I would still use it. It's that nice.
