Man it really grinds my gears to see all of this Team Titleist stuff up on eBay. Their are members that are longing for those bag tags, I read it daily, and people are out there exploding it. I have a divot tool and bag tag and I'm always pining for more to add to the collection but I'm very happy and proud to have what I have. Just venting I guess but it's got to bother you other guys and girls that participate and live the brand.

I bet with a bit of work the TT Staff can figure out who is selling on eBay and make sure that they are not on the list for anything else......

I do agree mostly, but I also feel bad if people are truly spending around $75 for these bag tags. I am very proud to display my bag tag that I just received and can't wait to get more, but like you, Joshua, the stuff that I get from Titleist is far better than buying something off eBay.

I couldn't agree more. I have received a few items over the years and couldn't be more appreciative. Items that I didn't have a use for, lanyards for example, I was able to find a person in the forum who desired one and sent it along accoridngly. No ned to sell any of these fantastic items!

Took the words right out of my mouth. I would assume the overwhelming majority of us on here are very passionate about the community itself, but you will always find a minority that are in things for their own personal gain.

I agree with everything that has been said! I would love a TT bag tag and have yet to receive one, but we have people selling them on EBAY. Its not going to change the amazing season I'm planning on having. playing the game I love and the brand I love. Wish you all the best and play well.

Any TT clothing (hats/shirts/towels) that are no longer of service to the owner should be quietly and privately incinerated, like a worn American flag. Any TT person selling memorabilia should be disposed of the same way. Well, perhaps a little excessive but it does generate a certain amount strong feelings when I see profiteers taking advantage of the program.

Oh mannn... I never thought of it, but I looked in ebay and they're the new stuff with welcome letters for cash. It sickens me to have seen it!

I have seen the same thing and it makes me sick. If someone really needed the money just post to other TT Members, and the prices are unreal.
I would never sell any TT swag, I too am proud to have what I have and display as often as I can.

I agree with not selling the swag. I think it is great to receive "swag" in the mail from Titleist. I have been fortunate to receive test balls, bag tags and a lanyard.
Never thought about selling them! I am proud to be part of Team Titleist"

It is pretty sad. But at the same time it makes me proud to play clubs and use a brand that is coveted so strongly. If Titleist didn't make such quality products and provide such quality items to the members of this online community then there wouldn't be a demand for the items. So let's take a negative and make it positive.
Kudos to Team Titleist. Best around!!!

PS Like Charleston Heston so eloquently put it, "From my cold dead hands!"
No one's getting my TT swag!!!

I hate that idea, how can that happen? I love my tag and the lanyard. It is just wrong to sell it on Ebay.

Yes it really bothers me because I am a true supporter of this site and I am so proud of the bag tags and they were not created to be sold but given out to let people show their support for what titleist does for members.

The same thing happens all the time with the Scotty Cameron head covers. They are very difficult to catch and stop. American free enterprise. I stopped joining his club because of it. They were buying them up and as soon as they sold out they were on eBay. I was only able to get one the year I belonged. I cannot believe they get on here and "beg" for freebees and the sell it on eBay. We may not agree, but it is theirs to do with as they please. I am very proud of my TT items, because I am a loyalist. I sell nothing on eBay!!!!!!!!

It happens with any premium swag... You thing TT selling is bad, you should see guys camping out at the Scotty C. Gallery at midnight for 10:00AM opening. Don't like it at all!

I don't have anything TT yet (I definitely would welcome it, but even then, it's not a big deal if I don't get anything), but seeing profiteers marking up prices as much as they do (same thing with the Cameron swag) just drives me crazy. I get it and if that's what people want to do, more power to them. There's obviously a market for it and Titleist is as premier as it comes. I just feel the frustration that everyone else does. I'm not paying $75 for a bag tag. I'm not paying $300 for a headcover, no matter the prestige. I'm not sure how to stop it from happening, but I wish everything were a little more reasonable.

And I'm not complaining strictly about prices. I've got plenty of Titleist gear that I would deem worth the price I paid for it. I've got two staff bags (one for tournament play and one as a gift from college graduation a few years back), a staff stand bag for everyday use, a briefcase, and 3 Scottys. I don't mind putting money into quality gear. It's the markup I have an issue with. But again, I guess if there's a market for it, can't complain too much.
  19. Totally agree with all the comments. You'd think I won the lottery when I got my bag tag lol! No way I'd sell it...

Agree with everyone here. I actually messaged a seller who's listing for the metal TT bag tag and ball markers stated "One of a Kind" I send him a pic with a few of them and he quickly vanished from eBay. I am proud of the TT swag I have been fortunate enough to receive, sure not going to let it go.

I forgot to mention that the TT items are gifts from THEM to US and shouldn't be sold! The Scotty stuff is a tad bit different!
