  1. I have been reading through the forums today and ran across two posts that mentioned the invitational. I have not heard of such a thing, and am under the impression I won't be able to participate in one until 2018. I was hoping someone would be able to shed a little light on what exactly the Team Titelist Invitational is. Although I will Google it, I greatly appreciate my fellow TT member's input.

This was announced a few months ago. Basically it's a first come first serve basis and it's a GREAT time to be honest. It's open to all TT members. I went last year to PInehurst and had a blast. Obviously the courses were amazing but being able to put name to the faces was a blast and everyone was super nice. The TT team; Mike D., Abby, Liz and Rick aka Scorp. does a FANTASTIC job setting this up. It's a 2 day event. The night before you check in and meet everyone for drinks, chat and get your bag gifts. The next day you're playing a fabulous course and then they usually set something up afterwards. At Pinehurst we had the ball demonstration and that was fun to watch and learn. At night they had a great dinner with some prizes to be handed out. The next day, play another round, award ceremony and adios!

This year it's at TPC Sawgrass and i'm sure it'll be another great time.

IF they have another next year, the announcement is usually around April - May time frame. They post it everywhere; FB, IG and on their site.. IMO, it's worth going to..

Each year Titleist sends out an invitation to it's TT members to a golf destination. This year it will be at the TPC Sawgrass. The invitations for this years were sent out in May 2017 and it filled in about two days. They normally are limited to a number of spots of around 72 players. Last year's was held at Pinehurst. Being very active on this site ensures that you will see the invitations when they come out. Also being able to make a quick decision because they do fill up very quickly is a priority. Being able to see old friends it a treat for a number of us. These events normally run around $1000+ per person, but worth every dollar. The costs include your hotel, tee gifts and golf. Your would be responsible for your transportation costs. These events are awesome. I have been able to attend three and will be there every year as long as I can get there. Kudos, to Team Titleist staff in the first picture, Abby, Liz, Mike and Rick. Some pictures of last years event.

Chuck, thanks for sharing your photos and story. It sounds like a first class event and lots of fun.
  5. Speedy,
Thanks so much for replying and providing so much information on the event. Sounds like something that I will have to get on my bucket list to do one year. I may have to succumb to not having social media accounts just to ensure that I do not miss out on the opportunity because it seems like they fill up pretty quickly. I will definitely be keeping my eyes peeled around April-May, and hopefully some form of an email sign-up will be offered as it approaches. Thanks again.
  6. Chuck Z,
Thanks for replying and sharing your photos. The TT gifts look awesome, and hopefully I get to run into you at one of the future events. I do not post on every topic I read, but I do try and log on often to see what everyone is talking about. I will make sure to sign up when I come across the first post that offers information on the next invitational. Have fun at Sawgrass this year.

You have to be there to understand how much time and effort the Titleist staff puts into ensuring that we enjoy ourselves. Everything is first class and they try to top each event and each year we ask, how. But they always succeed. Speedy knows. In the second picture I posted that is as follows:

Ted (Texas) Chris (Ohio) Fred (Texas) Chuck (South Carolina) Gary (North Carolina) David (South Carolina). At this years event, Ted, Chris, Chuck and Gary will be playing together as team NOTS.

Tyler..Last year was my first and it was an incredible event. I'm signed up again this year.

I can't wait to see some of the great guys (like Chuck above) and Chris and others that I met last year, and meet some new friends in Jacksonville NEXT Month!!

As mentioned the TT team of Abby, Mike, Liz and Rick and others make this such an incredible event.

Oh yeah, and being among the first to see the 718 lineup of irons and hybrids and Im sure get a full education rundown on them is icing on the cake.
