At the price point and the intended users, it is a great ball. Launches easily, soft feel, minimizes side spin and still has decent spin around the greens. Golfers looking to maximize the benefit of a golf ball for scoring potential will pay more for a Pro V. For more casual users that like the soft feel, it will work just fine. The Titleist web site tab for golf balls explains the differences in the various balls.

Cannot go wrong with any Titliest ball they all perform well.and for the price the DT gives a amazing amount of performance for a small price, nice soft feel and decent spin around the greens.I always tell someone new to the game to give the DT a shot especially if you are losing a lot of balls,or due to your budget.I would not hesitate to play a DT ball.Because I have played the DT ball before.

    Billy Jay,

I use the SoLo exclusively.  I like the soft feel.  They are a great ball and hold up well (assuming no contact with a cart path or tree).  I have not seen any performance (read distance) drop off with the SoLo.  I'm 67 yrs old so I don't have a fast swing speed but the SoLo gets out there for me.  Also, I don't practice a lot so I don't really put a lot of stock in being able to stop the ball on a dime at the exact distance I want.  Also, I prefer my chips to run out a bit and not check up and the SoLo does that really well.  Then there is the price thing.  Being retired, money is a factor.  So for me the SoLo is a great ball!!   Good Luck.  Fairways and greens.
