Who else has got them in the mail? I'm excited to try them out. I'm gonna take a shot in the dark. I feel like they might be the new Titleist NXT tours.

If you have also got them in the mail. Feel free to chat about it and tell me how you like them or dislike.

I just want to thank you again for allowing regular golfers like me to test your golf balls. It was great to receive that little white box in the mail yesterday with a sleeve of test balls. It is the little things like that make me a loyal Titleist ball player year in and year out. I play your golf balls because of the consistency I get from ball to ball, round to round, and season to season.

Well they send out an email asking if you are interested in testing golf balls.  I did reply twice and twice I received golf balls in the mail.  You do have to test them and answer the survey.  Fair is fair.

That is how I received them.

I received a sleeve in the mail this week with black numbers, Visually I compared the balls to a NXT Yellow and ProV1X and the cover looks similar to an NXT not a ProV1X and this isn't the year for new models of Pro V's. I will test them this week although I've tried putting with them and they seem like an NXT.

Received the latest sleeve last week. tried one yesterday, and it performed fantastically. No birdies, but it held up well. More of the NXT excellence. It felt different to me, as I am a ProV1X guy, but nonetheless, I liked it.......

i concur with above statement!  Thank you Team Titleist. I plan on trying these next week once it dries up.

I received a sleeve of High Optic Yellow "Test" balls on Wednesday, 11-03.

Back in the Spring I switched from using the Pro V1 X to the High Optic Yellow NXT Tour S ball, strictly because of my inability to 'see' the ball down range. My guess would be the Test ball I received is a new version of an NXT Tour (S) ball.

I played yesterday 11-04 and used both the "Test" ball and my normal NXT Tour S ball. It was a tough day on the course, soggy conditions and one of those poor ball striking days. My Test results are inconclusive after just 1 test session. I intend to and need to do a putting / chipping test and then play a couple more rounds with the "Test" ball to really give a fair review.

My only conclusion so far is that it's going to be a tough job to compare a very good ball to a ball that should be as good if not better.

Thanks Team Titleist for including myself and other TT members in you ball testing process.

I,too, have a sleeve of bright yellow balls marked test with Logo and number in black; no other ID. Have been able to compare with my yellow NXT's only during one round so far. Not able to make a solid comparison yet as to distance but seems the TEST ball goes higher than the NXT. Hopefully, ground conditions next week will be drier here in the NE and I can compare distance and roll. Thanks Titleist for keeping me in the tester group. Will be very interested in the final report as to which new ball version this might be.

I got some yellow ones that look like the NXT Tour S (optic yellow).  I played a round and only played that new ball a couple of holes.  I compared it to my normal ball (NXT Tour S) that day.  I didn't notice that big a difference that day.  I did hit some of my longest and straightest drives of my life that day...but I can't say for sure which ball it was.

I took the balls to my local course yesterday.  DEFINITELY prefer the test balls for feel and accuracy with the putter.  Softer and more accurate.  My chipping wasn't great...no real difference there in accuracy, but again...preferred the feel of the test ball.

I hit the 3 test balls I had after hitting 3 of my existing NXT Tour S at the driving range (consider them a donation to my local driving range).  While I liked the feel of the test ones, I can't say conclusively there was a difference with the driver or not.  It seemed like there was more spin off the driver, but I wish I had 3 more to test for 9 holes.

I also bought the new DT Truesoft.  That feels like a great ball to me. I already prefer that to my existing NXT Tour S.  Please clue me in as to what ball I hit...and I'd love another 3 to test more carefully.

Special thanks to Titleist for letting us normal golfers test these out!

I played 3 rounds and conducted a putting / chipping test, comparing the High Optic Yellow 'Test' ball to the NXT Tour S.

    Overall Distance: Draw

    Approach shots: Draw

Pitch shots: Test ball, more spin

Chipping; Test ball, felt softer, and had more spin

    Putting: Test ball, felt softer

Is it the 'usual' yellow, or are they 'brighter' this year?

Appears to me that the 'high optic yellow' is the same brightness as before.

Played with new test balls I received on Friday.  These balls had the normal, great titleist feel off the club face !  They flew straight and long off the tee.  Pretty good response around the green but not the control and stopping power of a ProV1 or 1X.  Overall a great ball that I would play with again.

Got my first sleeve of Test Balls!!! makes even better because it's my birthday and what a surprise it was to see those in my mailbox

today!! Thanks Titleist for sending me some test balls to try out. i only pulled one ball out to feel it and it felt real soft like ProV1,

the cover felt jus like a ProV1. can't wait to get off work so i can go out back to my putting green and see how they perform. i'm

going to take a ProV1 off the rack ball and one of the test balls that feels like a ProV1 and play both of them so i'll have something

i can compare it too. when i get done testing/loosing all 3balls i'll come back and let you guys what i think about them

Received my test balls last week and WOW! I am comparing these to the NXT Tour S and both were very good but the TEST balls are very hot when struck well with a really good penetrating ball flight. Even with some wind the ball was very stabile and I hit some tee shots that were hit well, another 10-15 yards further. Great ball, what is it!!!!!

Just curious, Do any of you have post office boxes or does Titleist ship only to mailboxes or home addresses with these test balls. Would love to be a tester since I missed it last year because my profile was not complete! Thanks, Hopefully some luck comes my way.

I did receive the test balls today and will put through the paces of chipping and putting this week and get some full shots in next week when I play on the course.

    Thank you Titleist!

I currently play the ProV1x but have some NXT Tour S in the bag as well.

Will be fun to see how they compare.

I too have not received any.  I have been very lucky because I have found that little white box in my mailbox for the last three years.  Time to let others revel in the glory.  Tis fun though.  Hope everyone enjoys the balls!!!!!

I received the test balls from Titleist ,red numbers. Played last week and may be the only time I may get to try these out this year. weather in northern Indiana was 55 as a high. This ball was long. On my home course I hit two of my longest drives of the year. I normally hit drives of 220-230 in the prime summer months. I had two drives of around 250. Distance seemed to be one club better all day.

Also just got my sleeve yesterday (Fri Nov 6th) and will start testing them today with chipping and putting.  But they also look like they must be something other than ProVs  to me.  The "Titleist" stamp looks thicker than that on the existing ProVs and makes me think they are maybe NXTs.  We'll see how they perform.
