What is the actual compression of the Prov1 and the Prov1x?

    According to GolfInfo.com:

    Prov1 - mid compression @ upper 80s
    Prov1x - high compression @ high 90s

No information on the 2017 ball that is being released.

Compression is kind of irrelevant as each manufacture measures it differently. The Pro V1x will be slightly firmer than the Pro V1.

    I've heard for the 2017 ProV's

    ProV1: 100 compression
    ProV1x: 90 compression

Correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Compression who cares I hit both the V1 & V1x and my driver swing speed is mid 80's. Use a 913 D2 with a stock Mitsi R blue 62 S+ shaft ............... V1x does drive longer but on any windy day I will take the roll out of a V1

Compression is not really used anymore. What really matters is how the ball feels when it comes off the club. I would suggest that you go to a ball fitting day and experience all of the balls in the Titleist line. It will be very easy for you to get to the right ball for your game.

I ask this because I work at a sporting goods store and always get asked by customers and I would like to give them the information they ask for.
