My wife Rosemary, just ordered a special box of personalized ProV1's for me to use in my Club Championship!

She's recovering from her cancer surgery and chemo and on the mend and wanted to do something special for me. I couldn't be more grateful for her in my life and for all she's done in our life and for our grown children ( oxymoron ).

Play Number: 51- I was born in 1951. We were married 5-1.

    Logo #1: Rosemary - My wife's name.

    Logo#2: Kiss- She loves me!

So she selected a Rose and a Kiss to personalize my new ProV 1.

Think I'll make this my permanent personalization from here on out.

What's your personalized mark and story?

That's awesome. Hope she has a great recovery.

I play prov 1x with the number 25. The day my wife, son, and daughter where born added together. And the words are "if found return to b ruch go Michigan". Usually only play them at the club I'm a member at just because they know me.

What a great story. I hope she continues to buy them for you for years to come. I decide on my 2 digit birth year, so my 50 is easy to identify on course. Playing low numbers on a Titleist ball is just not helpful with the number you see on course.

Thanks so much Don! Agree with you about the low numbers! What a great photo BTW!

    Your story is awesome!

Mine has #73 on it to recall a day when my bro invited me to play with his guys at a course I've never seen before and I shot 73. Also, JVGA/CLSS is on its side- golf school and mantra.

I play a 35 with Professor on the side stamp. The 35 is in memory of a friend and Professor is a nickname. Glad to hear that your wife is on the mend.

I am from Hawaii and order my balls with "Kingman" which is a nickname I grew up with. "Live Aloha" is our way of life. The number 44 which is a combination of things. 4 is my date of birth and also lucky number. 4+4=8 which is the symbol of money. 4 is a bogey on a par 3, par on a par 4 and a birdie on a par 5. I mark my ball with a "Honu" in the color green as it's a very spiritual animal in our culture.

Just a fabulous story! Love Hawaii. We've been going to Mauna Lani Bay since it was built and golfed there every time.

Also have a special affinity for the "Honu" as they raise them there and release them annually in a beautiful ceremony on the 4th of July!

You ProV is a real classic and no identity problem there for sure.

Kevin, what a wonderful story & hope your wife continues on her recovery path.

My story is simple. My wife asked me what number of golf ball would I play & got me the #66 so I play 66 for the birth year of my wife & 23 for the day we were married. I mark the 66 with 3 blue dots around the number on one side & the 23 with 3 red dots like the blue ones.
