Volunteering at the CSC this week. The tiny range can't hold the ProV's from flying out onto the first fairway. Stark white against over seeded green fairway. Oh My!

So the driving range is only 250 or less yards without a screen? While the pro's don't hit many drives in their warm-ups during the tournament, it will still be "interesting" for the earlier ones on course while later ones are warming up.

Don - doesn't have to be 250 or less. In the mid-1990s, I found (and still have) a freshly-struck Tour Balata. It went through the Pebble Beach tournament's range (a polo field). I think a regulation field is 300 yards. The next year, though, they put up a better fence!
