  1. Played the AVX today and love it. I seem to get more distance off the driver and it still has a great feel around the green with the irons. I'm sold ! Hopefully it's here to stay. I do hope that we will be able to order it with custom #'s/ logos etc.

Yep, great ball. Had to retire one after only 1 week in play.

Any difference from the ProV1? Cause I can't see it staying around at that price point.

With the yellow option it sort of competes with the Tour Soft for likely users, so pricing a urethane ball that also competes with amateurs using the V or the X will be difficult I have stockpiled ambers as it is the best non-V I have found for my game. I do like it for irons shots more than the V, as well. Should there be an official release, there may be a new price point - or they may include it in the My ProV program for customization. I do hope they find a place for it.

Speedy, Streamsong? Sweet! Planning a trip there in April with the wife. She gets Clearwater beach and I get a Streamsong Red.

My buddy has a shop near my house and they are priced the same as the Prov1s.
Sells them as fast as he gets them. I have played them and I prefer my Prov1. Golf balls are a personal choice. There is one for every person.

My golf pro gave me one to try at the end of season so didn’t get a good test. I did putt with it quite a bit on the putting green. What struck me, there was the incredible difference in sound and soft feel off the face of my Scotty Futura 6M. Putting side by side with my usual VX you could actually hear a huge difference and the X jumped quicker off the face than the AVX. Just my humble observations! Looking forward to putting the dozen I got my hands on in play once this wretched winter is over here in Central PA!!

Played the yellow AVX today. What an amazing ball. Longer than any ball I have ever played, including the Pro V1x. I had to go down a club on approach shots. And soft around the greens. Paid $50 for one dozen, which I think is a little high since the ProV line is only $4 more.

I have a dozen AVX already marked and in the bag for my Pinehurst trip at the beginning of March. After reading these posts I will have to roll a few putts in the carpet with my new Futura 5.5M and compare feel and sound with my ProV1x.
