Anyone else wish Titleist would offer more alignment options? If I could just put a custom color line on my ball instead of having to use a sharpie I would definitely do it. I always struggle with the line smearing while I am playing. Do y'all think this will ever happen?

I sure hope not - at least not on their "off the rack" boxes. Perhaps yes, if it is through the custom golf ball program.

Now, I have some friends that like using the "alignment" lines on their golf balls for putting. For them, I say "live and let live" or "all the more power to you"!

As for me, I simply do not like using an alignment mark because I find in my experience, that I can become too focused on the line and not the pace. Further, say from 10-20 foot range or more, if the alignment mark is set on the green even a degree or two off of the actual line, then the putt misses.

I tend to be more of a feel putter myself, I need to feel the greens, the slopes, the fall line, and then worry about pace.

In order to add value to watching too much TV, I will mark and add an extended alignment line to a dozen or so balls while away the commercials. So my marks are dry on course. Years ago I s.o. some Callie something in amber with a an alignment stripe in green. The length was underwhelming and didn't line up with the side marker. One more reason I was disappointed in the purchase.
So, I'm not hoping for it.

IMO the current AIM marker does the trick. Maybe they'll offer it in the MyProV section.
  6. i would love to see titleist put a line on the golf balls... i dont want to go online or to a golf store and pay 10 buck to get a ball maker clamp so i can just draw a straight line.. so then sometimes im in such a rush i take a sharpie and put a line on it and then i go to putt but the line is very weird or not straight at all
