  1. Ok so I got my 718 AP2's last fall, Vokey wedges, 910 driver Hybrid Titleist bag etc. I bought a dozen Prov1x, then won a dozen Prov1's which is now my ball and I am very happy about that. But I noticed recently that my local retailer is advertising the Prov1 at the new price and it says 2018 Prov1, and while the box is a bit different, when I open the package I cant tell the difference. Can someone kindly explain to me the difference between 2016,2017,2018? And how to tell the differences as well by looking at the ball? I want 2 things from this. The ability to get the best ball, and not be charged for a current model only to be sold a 2-year-old model. Thank you in advance.

Titleist products are almost always on a 2 year cycle. The Pro-V's were 2013, 2015, and the current is the 2017. In January at the PGA show, I'm expecting the 2019 Pro-Vs to be released. This past January's released balls (2018) were the Tour Soft and Velocity. The current package is shown on this website under "Balls". Sites I've checked still list the 2017 version as $47.99. I've seen some places offering the 2015 version for $39.99.

The Pro V1's are odd years. So they are either 2015's or 2017's model. if it has a black alignment arrow it's 2017, if it's Grey & I think longer it's 2015 and usually are cheaper than 2017's. New ones should be out sometime down the road.... I know the arrows are different style & color between 2015 & 2017
