Hi, i am still playing Titleist 755 forged irons and require a gap wedge, would it be advisable to add a 712 CB gap wedge or a 712 AP2 Gap wedge to my bag? Also are these wedges available separately?

Muhammed,
Yes, you can order any of those irons individually. Since we no longer manufacture the 755 heads, I would recommend adding one of the current 712 GW to your set.

You may also want to consider adding a Vokey Gap Wedge to complement your set and yardage gaps. Maybe a 52 loft, depending on your yardage gap between you pitching wedge and your sand Wedge.
Just a suggestion that may work best.

The 50-08 is a great gap wedge and you can bend it to 51-09 ( a little more bounce than the 52-08) or 49-07.
If you want a gap wedge you can use in soft sand, try the 52-12. This would also be a good sand wedge if bent to 53.
Or if you want to keep a 3 wedge setup consider the 54-14 or 54-11. You can always bend them to 53.
Thanx for the responses guys. I am playing a 56 Degree vokey wedge as my sand wedge and get about 75 to 90 yards out of it. i need something that will give me 90 - 115 yards.

This is similar to what I did with my AP1's. I have a Vokey 50.12 for GW, then 56.11 (bent to 55.10) and a 60.10 in the bag. But I really like the way the Vokey looks and feels. It's way more versatile and I can use it in a lot of ways vs. an AP1 GW.

I am thinking about getting 50 but not sure of bounce. I will be doing 3/4 swing with it. I love my 712 MB PW being aggressive within 95-110 in 1/2 swing more consistency but want to do 3/4 with 50. Which bounce should I get it at 8 or 12? Im using 52.08 which I struggled with the control of distance but playing better with 56.11 and not so great with 60.7. I guess I hit better with higher bounce.
I didn't care for a 52-08 as far back as 2008 and I found the 60-07 (SM2 type) has limitations.
Try the 50-12. Also may want to consider the 60-10 vice the 60-07. I love the 60-10, bottom line! (have become pretty deadly with a lob wedge over the past year). You could also take a 52-12 and bend it 1* strong.
I've played the SM4 52-12 bent to 51 and it is great around the greens and for pitching but tends to dig on long bunker shots in soft sand - the 54-11 (bent to 53) is probably about the best sand wedge ever. I played the SM c-c 50-08 bent to 51 along with an SM c-c 54-11 bent to 55 but it got to the point that I was just about exclusively using the 50 for most approach shots.
I use a 54-11 bent to 53 and 60-10 bent to 59 and that works best for me. I don't have a need for a gap wedge because this allows me to become more proficient with the PW and the 54-11. I played with DIY PW (47) and SW (55) along with SM2 60-07 and 64-07 from 2009-2011 and developed a pretty strong short game. I'm basically back to that with AP1 PW (46*) and three SM4s (the 54-11 and 60-10 bent 1* strong along with the 64-07). My short game has gotten back to its 2010-2011 level (had to have it because my ball striking was nowhere as good as it is now).
I've basically played with a combination of SM c-c 50-08 and 54 (carried the 11* bent to 55 for a year and the 14* until Dec 2012). In the effort to simplify the top end of my short game, switched to 52-12 in Dec 2012. Been playing the SM4 54-11 since late Feb and was able to get full refund on the 52-12 and got a new 64-07 (I haven't played a 64 wedge since 2011 and had been toying with the lob wedges for about a year, going to SM c-c 62-07 to replace the SM c-c wedges and briefly trying out a 58-04; the 60-10 bent to 59 has been a winner for a year now and I use it as my primary greenside bunker club).
