  1. Hi:

I recently picked up a 913 d2 that has been cut to 44.5".  I really liked the feel of the swing weight in my unaltered 910 d2 and would like to adjust the weight of the 913 to match.

Question therefore is how much weight do I need to add to the head to offset the half inch shaft reduction?  I currently have the stock 9 g weight in the club.

    Thanks!

2 grams change in headweight = 1 swingweight point.

1/2" shaft length change = 3 swingweight points.

5 gram grip change = 1 swingweight point.

With stock grip, you would need to add 6 grams to head weight.

If you changed from the standard Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip to Winn Excel RF you would restore 2 swingweight points without adding any head weight.

Combination would be Excel RF and 2 gram head weight.

I have a 910F 19* that I cut to 41" with a Surefit setting of C3.  I used a Winn Dri Tac Lite grip to restore swingweight.
