Earlier this month I got fitted for some ap2 irons and sm 5 wedges.  They arrived today and they are saaaaweeet can't wait to hit them on the course.

Bad news is that I just had surgery Saturday to repair a torn achilles tendon.  Prognosis is no golf this summer!?!?!?!?!?!?

I know I'm bummed out beyond belief.  Especially when the door bell rang and my wife said UPS just dropped off a box.  It then hit me that the clubs had arrived.  Having been dealing with the achilles issue surgery and pain pills and trying to figure out when to get back to work, I almost forgot about the clubs.

Sure would be nice to get some Team Titleist gear to help me get through this summer.  Not begging just asking for help if you can. Titleist for life.

Team Titleist comes through again.  Ask for and received.  Kind of said it tougue and cheek.  Was not expecting anything at all.  Much appreciated especially since the weather is getting real nice and that is depressing me even more.  Thanks again

Hang in there Guy and hopefully you will have a quick recovery. At least you know you will have some sweet new clubs to hit once you have made your recovery. Great surprise from the folks at TT for you, always taking good care of us!

Thanks for the thoughtful post really appreciate it.  I can't wait to hit these new irons.  Hopefully by August?  Putting and chipping for next two to three months.  Can't hurt the game working on short shots can it.  Titleist is the best.

I feel for you Guy - I had a 100% rupture of my achilles tendon nearly 8 years ago.  All I can say is take it slow and follow the doctor's instructions to the "T".  I have a nasty scar that runs down just below my shoe line.  The only issue that I ever have is when I get new shoes...as I like to walk the course a lot, but until the spot wears down on my shoe where it rubs, it is painful.

Congrats on the new clubs though!  They look awesome!  I just received my AP2's and new 915 - you will absolutely love them!  It will be well worth the wait!  In the meantime - you'll have plenty of time to perfect your putting!

Thanks for the reply really made my day.  Welcome to the club for me I guess. My tear was high on the calf so I won't have any shoe issues thank goodness.  I can't wait to hit the irons soon.  Hopefully by August?!?!?!?!  How do you like the woods?  Which ones did you get?  Do they compare favorable with other top woods for 2015?  I am going to be a putting machine with all the practice.  Like they say drive for show putt for dough.
