  1. Hi, I just regripped my new SM6 wedge that was custom ordered, and it looks like they used one piece of thick cloth tape to build up 1/16" instead of several wraps of double sided tape. Please tell me where I can get some. I need to regrip the rest of my clubs, and that would save a lot of time and tape. Thanks!

    Hey CFrushay,

I have never seen anyone use cloth tape. Here we use "normal" masking tape to build up grips and the last layer is double sided.

If you use masking tape to build and double sided for last layer you should have no problem.

    Cheers.
  3. Thanks, but adding 4 extra layers of tape to each club adds a lot of tape and extra work for a whole set. Hoping to get my hands on what Titleist is using in the factory. Hopefully, someone here knows where to source it.
  4. I noticed the same thing with the cloth build up tape. I was mad at first, but then realized that the bond between the double sided tape and cloth build up is a lot stronger then double sided to metal. I think it might just be 2 inch white athletic tape, but I could be wrong.
  5. Well ... I called Titleist customer service, and apparently it's a proprietary tape that they have made just for them. I sure wish I could buy a roll.
