  1. In the market for a new Hybrid. The cally I have just lost some confidence in it and need a change. H16H1, H16H2, other brands? I try to stay in the family here at Titleist but open to try other ones as well.

    Give me what you got!

I use an 816H2 as I prefer the smaller head size. More important than the head, you must get fitted for the proper shaft. That is what makes the club.

I have two 816h1s in my bag. One is a 17* and the other is a 21*. Agree with 19hole. Getting fitted is the key. My Titleist fitter is awesome and with his knowledge he always gets the right head and shaft combination for me.

Hey Robert, loved my 915h 18* w/ Aldila Black Rogue until I went to a Titleist Thursday fitting and tried the 17* 816h1. Tighter pattern, higher flight and longer. My Titleist fitter made a believer of me after seeing the comparisons on the Trackman at the range. The 816s you can move one full degree. Just something to think about.
  6. Chuck Z,

How did you like the move from 18* to 17*? BTW, I love the Aldila Rogue Black!!!

JC: Ten yards and tighter pattern. When I went for my fitting, I took my 915h1 18* with me and we compared the two on the Trackman. With the 816 you can take it to a 16* if you want to go longer. I have not tried it at that loft, because my fairway is a 15* (917f) and feel my clubs are gaped where I need them at this point. We tried both shafts; the Aldila Rogue Black and the Fijukura Motore Speeder 8.8 HR which I had on the other 816 and settled on the Black Rogue. All the hybrids in my bag are now 816s.

My 816 H1 replaced what I thought was pretty good for me. Since I've had it in the bag, I'm almost always anticipating the opportunity for it.

Definitely get fitted for it... that's a fun process.

I carry a 816H1 as well as a 913Hd. I agree with the others. The fitting is the key.

Love the 19 degree hybrid, always hit it sweet. It has saved me many strokes on the course. Love how it feels and how hot the ball flies. Use just about every round.

I'm still rocking old school. 910 H1 19° and 910 H1 21° . I know i probably can get a little bit more with new technology but, when you know exactly what the club is going to give you (240 & 215 yds) it's hard to change..M@dG..hit'em straight

Got the 816 H2 19 degree with the motore speeder shaft.. It is the 1st hybrid I've owned and it is a great club. I love the feel of it and am considering adding another.

I have a 20.5° 915. I suggest to get a fitting so you get the one you need to fill the gap.

I am still playing my 915Hd 20.5* since the first day they came out with Fujikura Speeder motors HB 8.8. The only thing that bugs me is cleaning the recoil channel. If I need to change, 816 H2 will be it's replacement since the channel is now filled with polymer.

I got fitted for the 816 H1 in a 19 degree and 23 degree loft...love those clubs....the key is in the fitting as mentioned in previous posts...

I'm with Robert. Can't get off my 915. Never been a hybrid man, like my long irons, had a 1 iron forever that was my favorite, hard to find these days. Never felt like the hybrid offered me the options a long iron does. Took out the 5 wood, put in the 915h and it goes every bit as far as the 5 wood, almost to the 3 wood. Love this club. Thanks Titleist. Keep trying the new ones, but haven't found any better....yet.

    816 H1 19° & 23° with S+ Blue Board stiff. Looking at getting a 17° and turning it to 16°.
  18. Going to swing and get fitted this weekend. I need to upgrade the one i have now for sure. had some trouble with the old one this weekend. Cost me a few strokes.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. Why I love Team Titleist.

  20. This weekend was awesome to finally get fitted for my hybrids. I went with the H16H2 with black rogue shafts.

These are some awesome awesome clubs, I couldn't be happier, but then again its Titleist and I should have expected a wow!!

Titleist keep up the good work!!

Chuck Z I did go down to a 17* as well and it is a great ball flight and everything!
