I play the 716 AP2. I am struggling with the long irons and am considering the T-MB for the 4-5-6 irons. Does anyone have feedback on the T-MB vs the miz MP-H5 irons? I played a buddies MP H5 clubs and I'm wondering how they compare to the T-MB. I have never hit the T-MB. I've been considering this change for a year and its time to pull the trigger. I'd like to get fitted for the T-MB but I was just fitted for the AP2 irons so I will probably just order T-MB clubs with the same shafts.

I play the T-MB from 5-GW. They are the best irons I have ever played. My index has improved since I put them in play earlier this year. They do have a higher launch than my Ap-2s did----with the same shafts.
  3. David - are you sure you have T-MB from 5-GW?

5 iron I'd agree with, but seeing as Titleist only manufacture T-MB's for 2, 3, 4 and 5 irons, I'm a bit flumoxed!

    If you meant 716 MBs.............then I'd understand.

In the images the T-MB has the bronze look to the sole of the club.

It's all in the acronyms dear boy!

Doug, I played the 714 AP2s for 2 years and then the 716 AP2s for a year. A year ago I bought 4-PW of the 716 T-MB's. Absolutely love them. You must hit them at a Titleist Thursday event or go to a local fitter in your area. Keep us posted.

Stephen, Titleist makes a full set of the T-MB. It's just an order-only set.

Doug, the T-MB is a great club and I play the 3-5 of it with my CB set, but you can't decide on the T-MB without hitting hit. I would not say it's much easier to hit than the other clubs, but the flight is better, you may get more distance on a center hit and they are great clubs. but you need to compare.

If you're struggling, you may be better getting the longer clubs in the AP1.

    Try them all and decide!

I have a MOTO set of T-MB's, 5-PW and absolutely love them. I needed iron's with a little higher launch, the the T-MB's gave me this. Sweet spot is small but my ball striking has improved with them. Great set of irons. Go to a Titleist Thursday and hit 'em all, you'll find something that fits your game.

Steven E, you can get a full set of T-MB's but they are "Made Only To Order".

Thanks for the comments. I will plan on a Titleist Thursday fitting for the 4-5-6 T-MB's.

Another vote for the T-MB irons. I am 5-PW (GW is there but I switch out with a Vokey). Great high launching irons.
  10. Well you learn something every day.
I'll check them out at my fitting day next month
    Cheers gents
  11. How different is hitting the ap2's vs cb's? I play ap2's with 14 hdcp.

I just put the 3 & 4 irons into play (replacing 913h's) and love them. The thing I feared about the hybrids was the occasional left of left shot, which I don't have with the T-MBs. I will note while they launch a higher than my irons, they launch much lower than the hybrids (at least for me). So far I love them and they do exactly what I need/want and that's all you can ask from a club.

I have the t-mb and love them. Looking for the gap wedge in left hand and amt shaft if anyone has one for sale...
