Just started playing my new irons. I played the first AP2's when they came out and I later switched to the 2014 AP1's to get more distance. I just switched back to AP2's again but decided to give graphite shafts a try. With the Accra ICWT shafts I get slightly more height, a bit more spin on landing and my distance is close to my old AP1's. While the sweet spot is smaller, I love the feel of hitting a shot pure. I can also work the ball better. I've played around 55 rounds so far this year and switching to graphite, for an older golfer, helps dampen the impact of hitting balls off of mats and hitting down on the ball.
