    I guess this may have been asked already, but why is it that the cost of the AP3 718 irons 5-PW is astronomical ?? £640 uk price 680 OMR WHICH IS MORE THAN DOUBLE ? Shame really as I will now have to wait to visit the uk to purchase these clubs, in saying this had a good offer on some Taylor made irons delivered direct, after only using titleist irons seems a shame that the average golfer has to face this ridiculous price hike !!

    5-PW is £749 in the UK at it's lowest price online but the cost where you are in more than a 3-pw set at the same store which is showing as £1029 in standard configuration.
    Is that the local retailers upping the cost after shipping etc?
    Good luck with your purchase when you get them, you won't be disappointed as they are amazing clubs.

    I've missed some of this argument. 5-P is 6 clubs, and the US list price is $1,110 for steel shafts ($185 each). 640 sterling is about $840 at today's exchange. The list price for AP2s, either 714 or 716 used to be $160 list. Doesn't look like your price is much different from mine. My take on our price increase is the material is more expensive just to buy (many more g of tungsten added).

    680omr is equal to approx £1300 so it's a massive difference really

    Golf clubs are about choices when it comes to brands and prices. Comparable miz and cally irons will be in the same price range. Check CarlsDiscount online $937.50 and that is a fair price. If you spend some time and check around you can find lower prices here in the US on clubs.
