Did a trackman session today with my 913D3 w/ Pro Force V2 66g (Stiff). All numbers looked really good except for overall ball height (flight) and spin (~100ft high and ~3800 RPM). Will an extra-stiff help here? Or can I simply lower the loft a degree. The V2 is a mid flex so this doesn't help either.

Other data: Swing Speed 107-109, Ball Speed 155-160.

    Thanks,

    Kevin

I'm also considering a lower flight stiff shaft.. Aldila RIP 60 S. The numbers on that were really good, just a little too low of flight. Figured I could just crank the loft a bit and be good to go. Any suggestions welcome...

Make sure you hitting up on the ball.  Trackman measures this attack angle.  Hitting down with a driver results in excessive spin.  If you keep the same downward attack angle, more loft on the driver is needed.

What loft are you currently using?

Are you hitting a draw or a cut? How much is the ball turning?

It looks like that shaft has a low torque already so may be you should try the heavier shaft since your swing speed is up there.

Need aoa and smash factor to help determine what would work best.  3800 is a little high so even a heavier shaft might not do it.  Might get better results with a different head and settings.  A shaft won't take you down from 3800 to 3000

    thanks guys.

-ball flight is straight, maybe slight draw

-current loft is set to 9.5 on the D3

attack angle lloked good on trackman so don't appear to be hitting down, at least not too much

I would first try taking the loft down to 9 or even a bit lower and see how it performs.  You should be able to tell if your spin rate comes down just by the trajectory of the ball after you knock the loft down a bit.  The heaver shaft should also lower your spin rate a bit, but if you can achieve the same thing with a quick adjustment, I'd go that route.
