Just ordered a set of AP1 712's with NS Pro 970 "A" flex steel shafts. Just checking that the "A' shafts are the same spec as the NS Pro 970 "soft R"? Have been playing png I20's with NS Pro 950's regulars. Range test of the Titleist with the 970 "soft R' resulted in a stronger ball flight than the Pings.

Also,  I've heard that the Titleist NS Pro series are a little stiffer at the tip than the NS factory versions. Is this true?  Thanks!!!
