so , I just bent a set of 690s about 5deg. flat for a friend and he is not happy with the job. I use a non marring bar and I even apply a little bit of heat to the hosels to warm up the metal so I bends a bit easier. so basically, short story long, I left stretch marks on the hosel ( on the face side) . I applied slow even pressure to bend them, but I still left stretch marks on them. all of my vokeys have stretch marks too (I like flatter wedges). is this common when bending irons? most of the clubs except for the 9 and pw are under 59deg. maybe I am just bad at tweaking irons
