Several years ago I played the Titleist AP1 710 with the NS Pro 105T iron shaft in S flex.

I have been trying to find information on Launch and Spin of this shaft compared to NS Pro 950GW and TT XP 95.

Since then I have progressed to AP2s and want to play a high launching shaft in my 714s.

Am I on the right track with the 105Ts which I liked very much? I already have a set of these with my favorite grips.

Go to the Custom Options booklet, I believe it is still listed in the booklet.

The link is included here: media.titleist.com/.../

Have you considered moving the shafts over to your AP2's ? Any decent pro shop should be able to do it for you.

We do have the NS PRO 105T in R, S, and X. They are the heaviest of the three shafts you selected. The XP 95 (101gr) and NS Pro 950 (98gr) will flight it higher than the NS Pro 105T (113gr) with the NS Pro 950 having the softest tip of the three.

Thanks for the info. I checked out the suggested web site (Barry-great info), appreciate what Cathi is saying and will initially go with Gary's suggestion. I can perhaps later go to NS Pro 950 if the NS Pro 105T does not work well for me (i.e. hitting and holding greens with the longer irons). I am partial to the Nippons.

I also had the 710 Ap1s with the NS Pro 105T, but I had the regular flex. Loved the shaft head combo, but as I upgraded to 712s and then 714s one of my brothers decided the 710s would be better in his bag than stored in a box in my basement. I'm getting ready to upgrade to either the 716s or maybe wait until fall for the 718s, but my youngest brother has already told me that the 712s are his. Gotta love family, but I can't afford to keep my two brothers in clubs!

I am planning on getting the Titleist AP2 718. I currently have in my Titleist AP1 710 with the N.S. PRO 105T and would like to get the updated model for the shaft I currently have in my irons. Which shaft do you recommend me getting? As of now I am looking at the N.S. PRO 880 AMC. Is this the correct shaft?
