  1. Hello,

I want to keep the same swing weight from my 915 d2 to my new 917 d2. My 915 d2 set up had 9 gram weight, oban devotion 7 04 (stiff) and medium grip. Keeping same shaft...what weight should I put in 917 d2 to keep same/similar swing weight to my 915?

    Thanks in advance,

  3. Do you know what the swing weight is currently? I believe the 915's had a stock swing weight of D2-D3. The 917 comes with a 12 gram weight as standard so it should also be between D2-D3. With a 63 g grip you have added about 9g of weight to the butt of the shaft which will reduce swing weight by @ 2 so your 915 is prob at a D1 or D0. So if your putting the same grip on the 917 you will have about the same swing weight. If you keep the stock grip your 917 will be about 2 swing weights heavier.

Hi, The 917 with a standard red weight of 12 grams is one swingweight heavier than the 915 with the standard red weight of 9 grams. The heads have been adjusted so they are not the same weight without the CG weight.
