When ordering with titleist, the grip size is often referenced in fractions. If I was picking a regular grip and want to build it up to the midsize equivalent, how would I specify that to titleist (1/64, 1/32, 3/64, etc.)?

I believe 1/32 is midsize. They do this because not all grip tape and build up tape is the same thickness.

You can order a midsize grip. If you put wraps under a regular size grip, the grip will feel firmer. If you order a midsize grip, the grip will have normal firmness.
  4. It goes Std, +1/64" then +1/31" then +3/64" then +1/16". The last one is what many would consider MidSize...you can also order your club with MidSize Grip such as the GP Tour Velvet which allows Titleist to have one base layer of tape and just put the grip on....Voila! MidSize!!

I am aware I can order midsize. The specific grip I wanted only came regular and not midsized. Are you sure 1/16 would be midsized? I think that may be thicker than midsized.

Use a reg size grip with 3 raps of tape that is real close to mid size
