Ok I'm just going to say it...Titleist needs a better selection of fitted hats. I have a couple of the sport mesh hats and while I like them, there are better styles that have a better look. I Don't know if Titleist knows what the "Franchise" hat is but serious R&D needs to be taken into consideration. I have been looking for an everyday hat in a few different colors for a while now and just cant find any. It really boils down to a casually fitting everyday go-to hat that I grab when I walk out the door or go play a round. I dont know what to expect from this post, I'm just making a statement

Cody, I'm going to have to agree with you. I wear M/L in fitted golf hats and wanted to sport a Titleist hat. Bought a S/M and it's still not fitting. Titleist does need to have more selections/better fitment for all head sizes.

I fully grew with Stephen.... I have the gap size between the M and XL

As a huge Titleist supporter I have to agree with you.  M/L is the size I wear to and have to wear a S/M.  While I don't mind though, I would perfer that instead.  Just something for Titleist to pass on to their hat making company.

I really like the Titleist fitted hats.  My problem is that they don't always fit the same.  I like the sports mesh, but you really have to look for one that has that deep fit. I like my hats to sit down on my head, not above the ears.

Agreed. Most of the hats sit like billboards on the top of your head and just do not sit right. My white cubic hat does not fit the same as my black one. Very bizarre.

I agree, Ive bought some hats in sm/m and also m/lg and worn them both the sizing is not consistent at all.

Also the bill is never even it is ALWAYS  of center.. always it drives me crazy i go through a all of them just to find one that fits right.

  8. I also agree. Im 15 and 5'4 and get kinda frustrated because a S/M is too big. I much prefer a fitted hat and would love a smaller size

I have  a small head, the S/M are still too large, I could get one the adjustable ones, but I don't like how they look.  I've tried shrinking a s/m and it was still too big, also sits too high on my head.  It gives the "bus driver" look.

  10. Cody,

These hats are generalized stretch fitted hats from new era. Having that said, I wear in an exact size in new era fitted hats at 7 n 3/4 of an inch. So with that said I get the L/XL based on fitting charts for the hats for Titleist and I have to say they fit me a solid 9.5 out of 10...but I would only have to agree that offering more sizes such as S-XXL in each individual sizes with a less size range per hat to fit the needs of more people would be a better option for not only you but others as well and I am sure would increase sales in their fitted caps!

I agree with all of you, but I have a giant head. If titleist were to make their hats like New Era 5950, like my everyday Red Sox hat, then that would be my new go-to hat. Please make some larger hats for giant domed people like me!

I have two of the Franchise style hats from many years ago.  Titliest offered these at one point and I try to take good care of them since they are no longer around.  But those are my off course hats.

My golfing hats are the newer Cubic Mesh style.  L/XL.  I agree with Scott on the fitting inconsistentcy.  I have the White version and a few Vokey release ones.  Then I bought the Gray Fall Relase version to replace my Gray Vokey (it was too tight and didn't fit like a L/XL should).  This fall release one is lower profile and more snug that then the others.

It's a pain to try to find consistency in the hats.  I'll post some pictures of my hats later when I'm home.

  14. I also agree. I am in between a M/L and a L/XL. It's very wierd. I love their hats but I can't wear them because they just don't fit.

Titleist has to bring them back...inconsistency in size seems to be a running theme here. I really just want a lower profile hat that is my go to everyday hat. I find it tough to wear the cubic mesh hat as an everyday because it just doesn't look like a broken in casual hat.

I'm just looking for that casual looking hat that I can grab when I walk out the door or play a round. I'm talking about one that looks like it has sweat stains in it that I've had for years and should have washed. I'm just not a fan of the golfers clasp on hats. Never have been. I think it looks cheesy and I laugh at the guys who don't tuck in the long stap that dangles like a rat tail. Obviously sizes and fit consistency seem to be needed but really I'm talking about styles. Solid colors with the logo. Or, other variations with colors but just make then fitted and casual looking.

In addition ---- Titleist needs to make golf hats with larger bills - to keep the sun of the nose --- and provide protection for those of us who have had skin cancer of some kind or another - larger billed fisherman styled hats are absolutely necessary for golfers - please do this titleist right away!!!!!

Sorry but i'm going to go with "no".  I'm guesing that the niche that wants this wouldn't justify to add to an already broad product offering.

Interesting listening to all your comments as i live in England and Titleist UK do not supply L/XL at all so i have to get mine from the states and they still dont quite fit (large cranium obviously)

here's the pic of mine (minus the new White Vokey one that's en route!)

I've purged my hats of 3 Sport mesh (don't quite like the fit compared to Cubic Mesh) and a Gray vokey hat that I tried cutting the elastic inside to make it stretch more because the sizing of that was WAY snug compared to identical hats released in the Vokey store this year.... Too bad but at least they had a Gray version released this fall by Titleist!

Can't wait for the navy and the black cubic mesh int he 2013 accessory line up!
