  1. Had my best round ever going tonight. 5 birdies, Making up and downs, driver was on fire everything was clicking. Then we caught up to some slow groups and came to a halt with darkness looming. Needless to say I wasn't able to finish due to darkness. End my round at -3 on the 14th hole. Real dissatisfaction without capping it off.

    Anyone else have this happen?

Did you eat anything during the round? Nutrition is a huge part of golf and many people ignore it. And I don't mean eating a hot dog at the turn...

I have had great rounds going and not finished its terrible. I went out 1 morning really early to play 9 holes before having to go somewhere really important and shot a 29 and had to leave. My buddy couldnt believe I actually left he tried to convince me to stay but I had to go.

Never had it happen personally. Actually shot 1-under this Sunday for the first under par round in 17 years. Anytime I hear of this type of scenario, I always think about the Bishop on Caddy Shack that was having "The best round of my life", then got struck by lightning, and Bill Murray just ran off in the thunderstorm.

  6. Yeah I'm still perturbed about it.

Although I had a great round from the black tees. About 7,300 yards and shot 77.
So that kinda makes up for it.

Keep'em in the short grass fellas!
