  1. We went on our annual golf trip to PEI the beginning of September and played some wonderful courses....Green Gables, Glasgow Hills, Mill River, Dundarave, Anderson Creek and Crowbush. If you’ve never played/been to PEI be sure to put it on your bucket list. What a wonderful, pristine island. We also got to experience riding out tropical storm/hurricane Dorian. What a scary but exciting night that was. We stayed at The Gables of PEI which is near Cavendish. Our area got hit pretty hard and the national park lost about 80% of their trees. Our villa stood up well except for water running through the kitchen light fixture. We lost power the Saturday afternoon and it still wasn’t on when we left, a day early, on Tuesday evening. By then we’d had enough of no hydro or running water and living by candlelight. It felt so good to get to Moncton on Tuesday evening and have a real shower! I’ll attach a few photos from out trip...enjoy.

  2. Island golf is amazing. The only problem is price. There are cheaper options out there. I have not been back since I paid over $100 to play Green Gables in late August one year, and found out the guy playing with me, who was not a member but was treated like a person from PEI because he owned a cottage, paid $28. I am not a cheap person, and I spend a few thousand dollars on golf every year but as a tourist, I expected to be treated better. Now maybe they have improved their prices over the last few years, but with the number of good courses in Canada, I am really reluctant to pay more than $100 to play golf. That being said, I have been to the Island a number of times, and I really do enjoy their courses. My favourite is Brudenell.
  3. i have been to PEI multiple times camping but never brought my clubs, next summer i'm having my bachelor party on the island with 3 days of golf. eagles glen, green gables and Andersons Creek. Fox Creek in moncton is a beautiful course as well.
