Hey Steve... I have a GOLO5 and love it, but in the end, a putter is a very personal thing. What works well for one may not work well for another. I know when I finally decided to pull the cord and buy a Scotty, I went to where I could hit putts with a number of them. Finally narrowed it down to three different Scotty's and then did a test. I placed a dime down about 10 feet from the hole and hit three putts with each one. Interestingly enough, I found one consistently missed the cup left, another one consistently missed the cup right while the third one (which I purchased) managed to keep the line at the hole. Al came down to how it felt in the hands and looked to the eyes as I was putting :)
Enjoy the journey as you try to find the best replacement :)

I have a Newport 2 and wasn't working for me this year. I was making a lot of 3 putts. I went and bought the Scotty Cameron Phantom X 12.5 and I LOVE IT. No more 3 putts!!!! I 2 putted from 60 feet the other day, I can average the speed so good with this one.

Like Darius said, it all comes down to how it feels to you and how it looks to your eye :) and to that, I'll add, "Who do you want to dance with."

Scotty Squareback has changed my world. Had a Newport many yrs ago, then went to center shafted RED X2 for yrs.
Eyes changed and wanted to have the look of blade but a mallet and Boom!

I love the studio Squareback and have a super stroke claw grip. Magic.
    Hope that helps.
    Good luck!!

Steve... I know the National Fitting Venter at Eagles Nest has a big selection to look at and try on their indoor putting green. I am just not sure how they handle drop in's so I would call and book a time to visit.
You may also want to try checking with the Golf Town at Hwy 7 and Weston Road area. They may have some in stock. I will also check with our club pro up here at Vespra Hills as I know they do club fittings for Titleist clubs. They may have some putters in house as well !!

Believe it or not, I drop a club and carry two. Love my X-5 but some days it just doesn't work, so I have my NP 2 in the bag.

    Hey Steve,

I went to Eagles nest and had Ryan/Chris help me out with a putter fitting two years back. They have every style and shaft length carried! After some time, I was very happy with our result and love it to this day!! Futura 5.5M
    Take the time/fitting.....well worth it!!
