hey guys, just curious if anyone in canada has dealt with titleist warranty at all recently? my ts3 failed back in october and was sent in to titleist per their request, but we're now 3 months on and i haven't heard a thing about it.

is there a big backup going on at titleist right now? or am i out of luck and in the market for a new driver? do failures get denied without notice to the customer?

any info would be helpful, thanks

Titleist is amazing at warranties. They are probably backed up due to Covid. Do you have a reference number or RMA number that you can call them with and get an update?

Hey William... I would be following up directly with whomever you used to send the club back to Titleist for warranty work. They should be able to get an answer very quickly as a follow-up to your issue. It is indeed strange that three months would have gone by without any follow-up, but Titleist may have contacted the people that sent it in on your behalf. Hope you get you club back in your bag before the season starts up again !

i have contacted the shop a few times for updates but have received three conflicting messages. the first said that titleist had it and was waiting on components (that was something like a month in)

two months in i asked again, and was told that titleist had received it but had not looked at it yet

three months in i was told that they reached out to the rep but hadn't heard back.

so at this point i'm not really sure?! i just miss my driver. i have a simulator at home and bought a cheapo titleist head (915d3) to tide me over, but i wasn't expecting this sort of wait. just seeing if anyone has had similar experiences to calm my concerns over this. i don't want to hassle my shop or titleist over it honestly. i'm a patient guy generally.

Ask your shop for the RMA or Work Order number. Something sounds fishy.

Based on the fact you did reach out and got so many different responses, I agree with the others... Get the RMA number from them, and then hopefully Jason V. Our moderator here on the forum should be able to put you on to the right contact or look into the issue for you from the inside. I know I got great response and assistance from Mitch (Jason V' s predecessor) on my warranty repair and one of my purchases going back quite some time ago. Best of luck... Let us know how you make out !

i'm confident they'll do something about it, i really don't want to keep bugging the shop, it's not their fault. i presume with covid and the rest of it that supply chain is a mess, so i'll just be patient.

maybe i'll check back at the month 4 mark. hah

I would definitely call the shop for the RMA # . If the shop is closed due to Covid, you can still call Titleist customer service ( which is great by the way with providing info), Tell them your issue, and I am pretty confident they can find out the status for you.
You are a lot more patient than I would be.

i got some good news today that some of the delay was due to a shipping mixup. so i'm led to believe that this issue should be sorted out soon.

i'll update when it's done, but so far it sounds to me that nobody is really to blame. grateful to hear that as i hold titleist in the highest confidence.

Hi guys ... I have not been able to log on much over the past 12 months so my apologies for jumping in now ... but I would just add that my personal experience in dealing with Titleist warranties has been excellent and that was through the people at Titleist in Ontario (Markham? Mississauga?)

When I speak to them, they are always good about getting me the current and correct information. I think Darius's suggestion is the route to go. As he said, Mitch always looked after us ... and while I've not really had the opportunity to connect with Jason V. I'm sure that he'll help you resolve it.
  12. Hi Will,

Sorry to hear about the mixup, please keep me posted if you need additional support and I can look into this for you.

thanks jason i will for sure. now i've been told that the issue has been addressed it should just be a bit of waiting and we'll be good.

if everything goes stale again i'll reach out.

    Thank you

well i have some closure on this, though it's far from what i was hoping for.

the story is that my failed ts3 is lost. the shop said that they shipped it to titleist, but titleist claims it never received it.

so after almost 4 months, the shop (bless them) has decided to help me out with a new driver. now obviously i feel terrible for burdening them with this as i don't really think it was their fault, but it isn't really titleist's either.

but i'd just like to update this thread in case it put titleist's warranty department into question, which i never intended. i'm sure that had titleist received the club, they'd have warrantied it.

Oh no, sorry to hear. The shop though should have gotten a tracking number. To me that was irresponsible of the shop.

That really sucks but glad to hear your shop is stepping up. Some businesses just "get it" and even though it took some time happy to hear it is all working out. Enjoy the new club!

So glad to hear you finally have some resolution to the issue. As you noted, the shop really cannot be held responsible. Nor can Titleist. It is nice that the shop will stand behind you and get you a replacement. I would imagine they used a courier and will get some form of reimbursement from that company. At the very least, you will have a club in your hands in time for the upcoming season ! All is good :)

yeah it's less than ideal, and i'll certainly figure something out with the shop where all parties get a fair deal here.

shipping is an absolute disaster at the moment. i ordered a set of shafts that shipped on december 29, and i still don't have them.

so i get it, it sucks. but i don't want to be a burden on an innocent business either.

all will be fine in the end. excited to hit the TSI3

well there's a happy ending to the saga. went for my TSI3 fitting yesterday, lovely club, it's since been ordered and i should have it in time for the courses opening in a month or so.

Great news... Looking forward to hearing how it works for you once you get it out onto the course this season !

just as a follow up, i still don't have a driver, and the 915 that i purchased to use in the meantime is failing the same way my ts3 did.

if it gets much worse i'll have to buy ANOTHER driver to tide me over till this is sorted.

is it unusual to have an 8 week wait for delivery of an order?

William... What exactly happened to your TSi3 ? I am curious mainly because you state your 915 is doing the same thing. I have had three different Titleist drivers with no issues so it is interesting (but sad) to hear you are having issues with two different models.
