Wow - Tony Finau was fighting his way up the leader board in tournament after tournament. You just knew he was close to a breakthrough. It seems he has found the magic with two wins in a row. This was a decisive win as well finishing at 26 under and a full 5 shots ahead of second place. Looks like his ProV1 is working for him :) So - that's 4 wins now on tour. Can he make three in a row for number 5 ?

Seems like just yesterday I was watching him perform on the Golf Channel's Big Break Disney. He has come far, and such a nice guy. Wishing him continued success. Taylor sure hung in with him very well and I am sure we will see him much more in final groups on tour. Quite a good crop of young Canadians on tour these days.

Tony played well in Toronto also and I think that gave him more confidence hanging with Rory and JT. Dale it looks like the Presidents Cup team could have 3 Canadians on it.

With all the LIV/Ryder Cup/Presidents Cup turmoil it might be time to start over. A say a North America (Canada, US, Mexico) against the world every two years and have an off-year for everyone. It will never happen but I like the idea of things that bring better unity for North Americans.

Great guy Tony! Very easy to cheer for. I was conflicted I also wanted Taylor Pendrith to win as well.
