Wifey purchased me a 917D2 driver for Christmas online and our local DIcks Sporting Goods store is not currently equipped to fit Titleist clubs. Where can I go to locally to get fitted for a different shaft/ flex if needed at no additional cost???

The only "no cost" fittings are Titleist Thursdays or watch for a local demo day in your area. Click on the "Find an Event" link at the top of the page to find a Titleist Thursday.

If there was an actual club under the tree, you may want to return it. Many shafts are no upcharge over the stock offerings, but there isn't an exchange program once you have an actual club (with any shaft). All you can really do with an online purchase is work with the weights supplied and the Sure-Fit hosel. You can find someone local to you for fittings by searching under "FITTING" at the top of the web page. Here:

If you can find a Titleist Thursday (n/c) when they are offered in your area, they can dial you in and if you had to take store credit to return the online club, you can then reorder to your exact specifications.

The best place is to look up where there is a Titleist Thursday going on in your area. The fitting is free.

I think you need to use the "Find Fitting Locations" menu item at the top of the website to find available fitters in your area. As far as cost is concerned, I guess you'll need to work that out with the fitter.
  6. I would go to the top of the page here and see if there's any Titleist Thursdays in your area coming up, and or see if there's a Titleist fitting center near you and give them a ring. Btw it'll be the best experience ever for you!

I was told about 15 years ago by a club pro, the shaft in a club is everything. Since then I have been told by people in the golf industry that is true.
Agree with Dale, Don, Barry and the rest. Go get fitted at a Titleist fitting location.

Sorry guys I forgot to mention I am currently in the Bellingham, WA area and there doesn't seem to be any Titleist Thursdays in the area. I will have to find a independent fitter. Thanks for the info.
