    Thanks Dan,

I had an amazing time as you probably noticed lol I came away with such a smile on my face all the way home. Your fitting and teaching was brilliant. So clear and precise and easy to understand. I really am fascinated by it all especially the past year, learning all about Ball speed, Spin, club speed etc, the science behind it all, watching hours of videos and been doing 4/5 hours a week on the range. I cant wait to get out there with my new AP1's and Deluxe Cart Bag then build it up with more clubs.

Its great being a relative novice to playing the game more seriously and still having the same experience at your centre that the pros get. I'd read of the great customer service Titleist do before i got my irons and im so glad i did. Even before I had them you were extremely helpful in doing that last minute change with my shafts and I cant thank you enough. Ive loved golf since my dad took me to my 1st Open at Troon in 1989 just wish id took it more seriously earlier now. I really enjoy the lessons ive been having as it really does feel like im learning something and gives me a sense of achievement when your taught something , practise it and it starts to work. Its also good to get recognition from my coach and people like yourself. It just makes me want to have more lessons and hit the range lol

Its a little bit longer drive to St Ives for me than my normal club but I will be using it all the time now for practise. Having the best mats and practise balls also makes a huge difference. Thanks for the Pro V1x's, I shall put them through their paces compared to the Pro V1's , really looking forward to trying them from my 6 Iron upwards especially. Will report back same with my AP1's.

Thanks once again for a fantastic day,

    Scott

You have to love the professionalism and customer support at the Titleist-sponsored events, from Titleist Thursdays to the national fitting centers. These events are judgement-free zones nor do they offer their personal preferences in helping you select the best product for you. Going to a retail store with a 20-something bedazzled by current hot marketing trying to convince me what works for him never worked for me.

    Absolutely Don, couldnt agree more.

Although its great to actually see all the different brands at once in a retail store they certainly do try to bedazzle you and convince you this one or that one is the best. It took me a couple of months visiting retail stores trying all the brands before choosing my Irons (AP1 718 Graphite Stiff 4-PW). I had different stores saying this ones best, or that ones best, some retail stores push whats on offer etc I ignored most of it and choose what i felt was best. I nearly went for the png g400 which were really good to be fair, went for a fitting at png Gainsborough Centre. I was close to getting them and almost did. No one at the retail stores told me the AP1 was a more forgiving club which was what i was looking for. Id always thought of Titleist clubs being more for really good players. I decided to try the AP1's just incase, and straight away knew that was the one for me. I think the blokes in the retail store must of been getting fed up with me going in several times but im glad i did, then i went to St Ives Titleist centre and Dan Friend (fitter) helped me and helped with a last minute shaft change. Ive since been invited back for the TS fitting which was brilliant aswell. TS3 worked for me best. Not long bought the Staydry deluxe cart bag so once my funds have recovered i will be getting a driver to replace my Cally, then some new wedges for the gapping. Will be going to Titleist direct everytime from now on as its about a 30mins drive from my house. They even gave me a few goodies and some balls to try out. Cant Fault the Titleist after service and customer care!!! Theyre not the best name in golf for nothing!!!! So pleased to have choosen Titleist.
