Would trimming 1" off the butt end of a standard length TS2 Driver with a Kuro Kage 50 A flex shaft affect the flex?

Hi Frank, That shaft has a parallel butt and we can cut it as much as 4".
It may play a whisker firmer, but if 44.5" allows you to hit it in the center of the face, or you are trying to lighten up the weight, go for it.
If you are uncertain, just try a 1/2" to start.

The standard TS 2 with a TV Grey grip at 45.5", standard Silver weight (9gr), should swingweight at D3. If you cut 1/2"
and do not change the weight, you are looking at D0-D1, which may work out just right.

Cutting it 1" to 44.5", without changing the weight or using a very light grip, the standard weight will have about a C7-C8 swingweight.
Adding 2 grams of weight (changing the SF weight by +2, +4 or +6) will increase the swingweight approximately one swingweight per each 2g increment so you can decide whether the lighter swingweight works for you or you need something with a little more weight in the head.

Thanks Cathi. As usual, you are all over it with the club info. Thanks again.
