     Hey, Team Titleist!

For all those golfers who have been asking for a high visibility color option in the best-performing golf balls in the game… the wait is nearly over! On March 15, for the first time ever, when you visit your local golf shop you’ll find a new color option for the  2019 Pro V1 and Pro V1x - high optic yellow.

If you’ve watched any Tour events this season, you’ve probably already seen players teeing up the new yellow models, including Bubba Watson, Kyle Jones, Rory Sabbatini (2019 Pro V1x Yellow) and Davis Love III (2019 Pro V1 Yellow) on the PGA Tour, as well as Mark Calcavecchia (2019 Pro V1x Yellow) on the Champions Tour.

In fact, Bubba Watson currently leads the PGA Tour in driving distance with the new high optic yellow Pro V1x, averaging 318.5 yards off the tee.

Titleist tour representatives have reported from the road that players who have made the switch to Yellow are loving the new ball, praising how easy it is to track in flight. They've also commented on how reliable the yellow offerings are, providing the same performance characteristics they've come to expect from the white versions of 2019 Pro V1 and Pro V1x.

One player also noted that he felt the brighter finish on his Pro V1x Yellow is helping him to focus a little better during the course of a round.

Have you considered this potential advantage in playing a high optic golf ball? I never have, to be honest, but I will now. If a brighter finish can help me to concentrate better, I’m sold. I know it will have a positive effect on my game.

How about you? Are you going to put the 2019 Pro V1 or Pro V1x Yellow to the test? If you do, please comment below and share your experiences. Let us know why the Pro V1 or Pro V1x Yellow is the right golf ball for you.

    Thanks!

I already ordered my stack of white ProV1 for the upcoming season through the Loyalty Rewarded program, however I definitely plan to give the yellow ProV1 a trial run.

Ive been using the yellow AVX through the gloomy winter here in Wales and love it, will be trying the yellow pro v1's as soon as they become available
  4. I will definitely be giving these a try. The high optic yellow helps so much with tracking the ball. Very excited that my favorite ball (Pro V1) is now coming in this option.

Im interested in trying them during some very early morning rounds when the sun is still rising. Also, during those evening rounds when the sun is setting and im fighting the sunlight.

Yes...i’m all over the yellow Pro V1 when it gets released, and hopefully with some personalisation on the side in the loyalty rewarded program.

Heading away at the end of March, so hoping they’ll be delivered before then...but I doubt it :(

Great post Rick. I've always played the white. But after reading this, why not give the yellow a shot. Thanks!!

Can't wait to get my eyes on a box of these new optic yellow Pro V's. Increased focus and concentration should translate to more consistency in the Impact Zone! This then should result in improved performance and lower scores.
    Thank you, Titleist!

Really? I love all things a Titleist but this just makes them look silly. Colored balls have been around for years, including some of theirs, but this “revelation “ just makes them look silly. Of course, the visibility is better. My nos. 2 and 3 balls are cally and srxn. Their top balls have had the yellow option for years. Titleist doesn’t need to make a big deal out of a proven point. My question about yellow Pro V1 and Pro V1x is : What took you so long?
  13. I can’t wait to get my hands on some yellow ProV1x!

  15. Can’t wait!!
  16. I can’t wait to try the yellow Prov1 ball! I currently use a soft high performance yellow ball (rhymes with “home” ) and was comparing this to the new ProV1 in white side by side. Since then, I’ve been hounding my local golf shop asking if the yellow ProV’s are in yet! Thanks for letting us know the release date before the store manager gets a TRO filed against me!
  17. Now that I am almost 66 years old it 's good to have a ball that can been seen better and goes farther. I know that Titleist has always been the best ball out there and that is why I play it. I have never hit or played with a yellow ball but would be willing to give it a try, especially if it's a Titleist.

I’ve been a high vis proponent for years, trying the Bridgestone and srxn balls for a solid few seasons. I agree, the color somehow demands my attention more at address than the white ball, and I can track it easier in flight too. That bright yellow is stimulating and evokes a certain joy and optimism. I’ll take that little uptick in energy any time I’m playing. (It was like the difference I saw with the tennis balls in the 70s when they went from white to high optic green/yellow. That yellow made me focus better and it made me want to play and practice more too.) I even backed down to the Titleist Tour balls just for the color, just because I prefer Titleist, which is actually a pretty decent ball to play, but just not premium. I had communicated with Titleist requesting the ProV in a high vis color and they came through once the AVX came out. I was back to a premium ball that I enjoyed playing and one that matched my skill level, but I still felt the Pro V was still a better match. So, I am psyched that the ProV is high vis and I can get back to business. Thank you Titleist. I’ll be the first in line.
  20. FINALLY!!!!! I have been using the yellow Titleist Tour Soft and wishing for many years that Titleist would produce the Pro V1 in yellow. I can follow the yellow golf ball much better than the white (Okay, at my age, my eyes aren't what they used to be).
  21. I'm 69 and the eyes aren't what they used to be (and I just had cataract surgery which did help!) so yes, I'll give the yellow ball a try-Titleist Pro V1x
