Why can we not get the Team Titleist marked balls with the aim line? Is this possibly a option in the future or am i just missing them when i try to order.

i just received my 4 boxes of the ProV1 AIM Enhanced golf balls. these balls are better than i thought they would be. alot better than having to draw a line on every ball. Great job Titleist.

My favorite Titleist golf ball is the Pro-V1x left dash. It is so forgiving and less spinny for my swing.

I know most Team Titleist players already know the benefits of the same ball. More consistent distances, predictable greenside spin, and general confidence.

But I’m curious… when did it actually click for you?

For me, it was during a club tournament at La Costa South. I had been playing the 2025 Pro V1 for a few months, but on hole 14 I ran out and had to switch to the previous generation Pro V1.

182 yards into a slight breeze, front pin. I flushed my 195 club to stay long of a bunker. In the air, it looked perfect. My group was yelling “go in.” Came up short. Plugged in the bunker. Double. Didn’t think much of it. Then on 18. 120-yard wedge, downwind, tucked pin over a bunker. Flushed again. Same thing. Ball comes up just short and plugs in the face.

The next day, I went out to play a few practice holes and brought more 2025s, so I thought I would hit both side by side. Sure enough, the previous gen was consistently 2–3 yards shorter for me.

I am hyper-aware of how much of a considered change it is for TOUR pros to adopt new models, but I never thought it mattered much to me as a 10 handicap. And this was just a 2023 to 2025 generation of Pro V1 that made a significant difference in my scoring. Changing models entirely makes me feel completely helpless.

What convinced you to stick with the same golf ball?

What’s even more surprising is how much difference a “simple” ball change can make in consistency. I’ve seen players switch models and suddenly notice better control on short game shots or improved rollout on drives—without changing anything else in their swing.

It also raises a fun question: do we really choose the right golf ball for our playing style, or do most of us just stick with whatever we’re used to or find easily?

Do you play with a specific type of golf ball or just whatever is available? Have you ever noticed a real performance difference between brands? Do beginners underestimate how important the right ball selection is?

Pro V1 left dash

Came out of a golf academy and recommended golf ball would be the -Pro V1. I go back and forth between AVX and Pro V1. AVX just doesn’t bite around the green like the V1, but I need lower flight and spin on longer clubs. Recommendation was to go with srxn, tried a round with that and it def does not feel, nor fly, the same. Any way to get the left dash V1?

I have played the ProV golf ball exclusively for the last 12 years. I love them. I found a Titleist ProV1 with a TEST printed on the side. That ProV seemed to play better than the ProV’s I play. I do not know if it’s a placebo effect or it was designed differently. Much lower flight. It even appeared to spin more on the green. I would love to play a sleeve or two and provide feed back to Titleist. How do I become a tester on prototype/test balls? I found this ball plugged in the fairway at my country club and am very interested in learning more about Titleist TEST golf balls. This is the first time I have ever seen this on a ball.

Any information would be much appreciated.

So,I recently bought 2 ,individual, dozens of AAAAA Titleist shammies on line. First dozen had the recent shcektic knot shamrock with gold border . The second dozen came with five shamrock designs. I was able to identify two as previous Titleist designs . The others may be aftermarket. Does anyone have older,authentic Titleist shammy releases. Tommy D

Titleist Velocity vs TruFeel

Hi everyone,

I’ve just ordered some Titleist Velocity balls.

I’m currently a high handicap player (around 37), and I’m mainly looking for a ball that produces less spin off the driver to help reduce my slice and keep the ball flying straighter.

From what I understand, the Velocity is designed for distance and lower spin, while the TruFeel offers a softer feel but might spin a bit more.

For players with a similar profile, do you think the Velocity is the better choice for straighter shots and forgiveness, or would the TruFeel still be worth considering?

The top Titleist golf balls always come out very clean. I play the Pro V1, however the left dash and the lined AVX always catch my eye. What's everyone's favorite looking ball/model/year?

New alignment graphics

I see now there are another 4 alignment graphics and they seem to have gotten rid of the best one which is the current 360 alignment on the avx and tour soft which was new last year.

This is so annoying. The triple track is the original gold std but I much prefer the prov1 ball, I’ve tried all the alignment aids and the single line is not too bad, this year I gave up waiting for a better option on prov1 and moved to the avx and tour soft with the 360 alignment. It’s the best one yet by far for alignment off the tee and on the greens and results with the putter had me sticking with these balls just for that.

Now they have gotten rid of it and seem to be trying random similar but clearly not as good graphics, while leaving the proV range as is. I may have to go back to triple track just for the alignment and try to find a good fit with the ball again.

So I wanted to let everyone know I had a great meeting with Nick Martin from Titleist and we had an excellent discussion of which Titleist ball was best for me. I gave him a few facts about my game - age, index, swing speed with driver, ball speed and carry distance. At the end of our discussion it was pretty clear I am a Pro V1X player.

I have been playing the V1X the last 10 years, but it was great to talk with someone as knowledgeable as Nick to confirm for me the that I am playing the right ball.

Played my first round of 2026 in Iowa yesterday with the all new Left Dash. What an incredible feel and flight and so do that ball cut through the wind like a hot knife through butter! I’m probably switching from Pro V1 to Left Dash!

AVX 2026

We all kwon the only piece of golf equipment that we play for all 18 holes guaranteed is the golf ball. For years I have exclusively played the ProV1 with zero regrets. As I aged I naturally loose distance and always like most seeking an edge. With no disrespect to the ProV 1 the new AVX is an exceptional ball for the amateur players. The flight is more penetrating, roll out a bit longer on drives and equally spiny on wedges and soft putting. The newer 2026 is noticeably better than it’s predecessor. Also had an occasion to play the new Tour Soft, another great ball. So if you are older and don’t swing at 90 +- 100MPh try and play either.

AVX - "Fountain of Youth"

From my reading the 2026 AVX seems to appeal to two types of players on the spectrum. Fast swing speeds who want to control spin into greens and want to lower their trajectory. But also, senior golfers with lower swing speeds who like the distance gained on the driver from less spin plus the soft feel.

Is the AVX really a good ball for the 60+ crowd that wants more distance like myself with a driver swing speed of 90-92 mph? I've been a V1X guy for the last 10 years.

TP5x or Prov1

All, been playing TP5x since I was over spinning the TP5 with my irons. Been wanting to go back to or try to go back to Either Prov1 or maybe even left Dash ProV1x. Anyone had any similar experiences or changed. My driver swing speed is 114-116. Mainly looking for stability off the tee and a ball that I won’t over spin with irons/ wedges.

Frequency of changing balls in simulator

How often are you guys changing out balls in your simulators? I got a case of the shanks with my wedges indoors and once I fought them off, I was getting super super low spin on all my wedge shots (like, sub 4k). Eventually junked the set of balls I had been using for a fresh set of Pro V1xs and was instantly back above 10k+ - stupid of me not to try switching balls out sooner. I think I had just beaten the old ones to death for too long.
