My originals (Tour Velvet) are slick & beyond repair…
Alternatively, does anyone know of a way to revive the tac?

RE: Need New Grips - Titleist Branded

When I pre-ordered the 2021 T300’s, they shipped with CP2 wrap grips. Last week I got replacement shafts and they came with Tour Velvet 360 w/o the Titleist logo. The spec in both cases was for “standard” grip. The CP2 was at the end of supply issues, but I was expecting the shafts to have Titleist logo grips. Are the Titleist grips now next to the Unicorn bin?

RE: Need New Grips - Titleist Branded

Bob. I believe you can match the size you are looking for by adding two layers of masking tape and then the grip tape. I have just the opposite problem so I use 60 grips on 58 shafts to get a slightly undersized feel. If I only have 58 grips I just stretch them down a bit during installation.

RE: Need New Grips - Titleist Branded

Dale, thank for always providing comments to everyone’s messages. For your response, I have tried to replace my grips which came on my T200s. However, I found that the Tour velvet 360 grips provided on my Titileist clubs have been 58R. However, Golf Pride only offers Tour velvet 360 in 60R. Why does Titleist offer 58R and any suggestion on how to match the 58R size with a 60R?

RE: Need New Grips - Titleist Branded

Go to local golf town...
I have ordered them before through my local pro shop.

RE: Need New Grips - Titleist Branded

I believe that the only way to get Titleist branded grips is to send the clubs to Titleist for regripping. I would call Titleist to confirm this and to get the procedure.

RE: Need New Grips - Titleist Branded

If slick and glazed, your best bet is to replace them. If just slightly slick, after washing with warm water and dish soap, rubbing with a brush, I have used sandpaper to remove the glazing and then another wash. That will usually do the trick. Titleist does not sell their grips but they are the same as standard Golf Pride Tour Velvet. If you want to avoid the Golf Pride logo, use the Tour 360's. Designed for adjustable woods, they work just fine on irons and wedges. Some folks get the regular Golf Pride ones and just put them on where the logo faces down. Hope this helps. Have fun out there.
