The single strap allows the player to move the bag from shoulder to shoulder, a big plus.

    Double strap for me.

It helps distribute the weight evenly while walking and for me feels much more comfortable.

I have to agree with Ryan, double strap for me, I use a singe strap if its a short walk to the green or tee, but longer distances the double strap helps spread the load evenly across my back.

I always use a single strap even though my Titleist stand bag has 2 straps.

Single strap so I can share the load by switching sides, the two strap reminds me too much of a back pack & I don't feel comfortable carrying a back pack around either.

Double strap for me. Having a bad back and shoulders it's much easier to distribute the weight. Yes, having those two nagging injuries makes it difficult to golf but pain it temporary and pride is forever.

I prefer the double strap. That's part of the reason I bought the Premium Carry Bag this year.

    Double strap
Distributes the load better for these tired old legs!

Have to have the double strap. Always walk and it’s a life saver.

Lots fewer back problems when the weight of the bag is evenly distributed on both shoulders

double strap spreads the load evenly over two shoulders. single strap makes one shoulder sore.

Definitely the double-strap... evens out the weight, and I'm not as good as I should be at not carrying more stuff than I need!

I prefer the double strap on every bag that I carry. It's much easier to walk, using a double strap. Plus, the pockets are more accessible if you use the double strap.

easier to carry with double strap, hands are free to snack while proceeding to ball.

Like the single strap, switching shoulders. Grew up with the old school Jones bags....

Old school, single strap, then you can carry the bag on either shoulder, front or back facing bag.

I took the old strap off my old cart bag and fixed to my stand bag.

Double-strap better disperses weight over the back and spine, which should reduce fatigue and ultimately poor play!

I switched to the premium carry bag with double straps at the beginning of the year. I find that the double straps make it so much easier on the back. I now find myself using it more frequently to carry on a quick nine or 18 with 5 or 6 clubs. It's no longer just my practice/range bag .

By the way, this bag definitely needs a spine. Bag sag is a major negative.

I'm with Pete, grew up with the single and moving it back and forth, shoulder to shoulder, frontward, backwards. Never liked the "Houdini Straight Jacket" double strap system. Generational thing I guess.
